Except they dont have it in stock and arent expecting to get any more.

With 1050 2GB VRAM it's not a gaming laptop, it's comparable to old 965m, so forget about playing new games in 1080p on high settings.

I think the price reflects that though it's lower end gaming wise but has decent spec for price

Seems like a decent price noticed they had a grade a MSI gs40 with a gtx 970m. I quite like the new lenovo gaming laptop's.

Gaming laptop, oxymoron

Seems decent to me

Would have went for it - if it had an ssd. Voted hot anyway.

There was a gaming laptop with 1050 4Gb with 128gb SSD and 1tb HDD for £699 last week. 2Gb VRAM is tough love. I'd say be patient for some more laptop deals to arrive. Decent find though. Just not as good as has been

They had naff screens. Can pop in a msata SSD into these quite easily.

Some people that game also leave the house. This is more than capable of providing an acceptable level of gaming (albeit not up to desktop high end standards). I like being able to game when away from home, and i can't fit my desktop in my bag when i travel.

Can someone give me an opinion about this laptop: scan.co.uk/pro…BwE

Is it worth the money or should I get the dell version for the 1k instead (doesn't have ips like
This)

Disclaimer - You haven't given any context so I'm assuming you just want the best graphics for the price and other features are just a bonus. In this case get this pcspecialist.co.uk/not…15/ It's the base spec so you can improve it if you want but the key part is the GTX1060. Personally I would not get any machine with less than a GTX 1060 for gaming.

Both of your links go to the same place btw.

Newbie question but what is better a 4K display or ips? John Lewis dell over here has the 4K display: link 3840 X 2160 Pixels (4K) but obviously doesn't have that great 1060 link you just gave me... damn I've been searching for 3 days now I better be more patient.

The Dell laptop you posted only has a 1050Ti GPU. I wouldn't expect that to run any game in 4K. Movies etc would be fine but 4K gaming no chance. IPS is the type of panel used. The laptop posted by Russ would, in my opinion, be way better that the one you posted. The GPU is way better performance wise and would yield better results for gaming.

Which model would you suggest for a 1060 with ips panel? I would rather buy it from a physical shop tbh for peace of mind. Thanks.

Well, it depends on a few things; your budget, your requirements etc. Do you want to run AAA titles on high settings or are you just after some casual gaming on the go? The laptop Russ posted above is a good starting point but the lack of SSD may be an issue and PC specialist a good company. You would get the same warranty as you would from a high street store but I understand you want peace of mind. Using the price of the laptop you posted have a look at this and see if that is any good, storage still not great but you get the option to upgrade the panel to 2880x1620 for £89 extra if you are wanting a crisp screen and you can add SSD's or HDD's. If you are after some more casual gaming a 1050Ti would be fine but you can get way cheaper than the one you posted. Youtube the hell out of as many laptops you can, get an idea what you want and view them in store somewhere if you can.

Terrible build quality and a horrendous company to deal with if you have an issue. I made the mistake to buy one of their gaming laptops and luckily amazons returns policy is very forgiving.
