I am assuming it’s refurbished as marked as grade A. I got brand new Dell 7577 2 weeks ago, 1060/6gb graphics card and 256gb ssd on top of this. It was with studentbean and I paid £699.

It's the glitch from before. There were 3 different glitches on computer products over the past 1 month. How I wish they can stop talking about it as it is not a deal that is easily attainable or easily find. Make me feel jealous as well missing it.

Sorry I didn’t knew if it was a glitch. I can’t claim the same offer for a month as per studentbean website. So I can’t confirm weather it’s still available on that price.

I was reading the thread. Basically removing the headset as well as using gaming300 code. They delete the thread so I did not manage to secure that glitch. T. T... Really gutted till now since I need a gtx1060 laptop.

It did to me and I got the laptop a day after.
I had issue with Dell and PayPal, it came out £669 and was taken out of PayPal but the invoice sent was £988. Then PayPal changed it the next day and deducted the extra £300 (did not know you could do that even though I argued it was £669). I ringed them up and after hours of talking to both PayPal and Dell, they said either I keep the laptop since it was glitch and they won't take the £300 off or I send back and full refund. Still waiting for refund, might have been unlucky but never using dell again as their customer service is sh@t... Again this is my experience, so others may vary...

that is so terrible, thanks for remind us, I also do not know paypal would allow seller charge more then the agree price like that. Paypal should be shame about such act and refund you right away (and I would think they should send you some gesture present too). Now I have to be very careful with any paypal payment in the future. Before reading this, I always think paying with Paypal is 100% safe.

Thanks, and PayPal is usually safe but just a headache since they want Dell to try resolving it first... Anyone interested here are screenshot below.

thanks for the insight. I do hope PayPal do better, they should take up their main role to sort it out not pass the bucket to you hanging there. Just like we pay with normal credit card, we should get the buyer protection.

At first place, paypal should not pass money to dell change the payment like that. Paypal should have common sense duty of care to their users.

PayPal always try promote themselves as leading role and safer in order to get user aboard, thus paypal have the power to market themselves to sellers and become the market main player). To some degree, paypal set up their own many rule eg paypal uphold ebay seller's transaction payment under complusory term and condition.

Again I am sorry for your situation and hope it sorts out quick and trouble free. Wish you have a great Xmas time and a Happy New Year.

Reckon you’ve got a case here for getting the laptop at £699. If you funded PayPal via credit or debit card, you could just wait for the laptop to come and do a chargeback for the £300...

So how about you hook us up with that username and password to studentbeans then haha
Dell deal does not work anymore, it was a glitch that was fixed within an hour. There is an entire thread in Misc section where people had to go through flames to actually get it honoured, but it was honoured. I thought of getting the deal myself but then decided that I didn’t really need it.
