Seems to be a reasonable price for quad core i7 and reasonable dedicated mobile graphics, dual disk drives, FHD, obviously poor battery.

Also from amazon itself and prime delivery available and maybe flubit will knock a bit more off...

They've just increased the price by £40 to get to that price. It might still be a "deal" but it's hard for me to see it in that light.

Have flubited just out of interest

£50 cheaper then that elsewhere but still not worth it imo.

just be careful as the saying goes if it looks to good to be true then it probably is. i bought one of theses of amazon and its a hacked profile and im having trouble getting my money back amazon are being far from helpful its still showing as preparing for dispatch and over 20 phonecalls to amazon to not pay my money out they still say they can do nothing

I feel for you, I got my account blocked about 7 years ago with the same sort of scam, Amazon basically washed there hands of me I only lost about £90.00, I will not buy from marketplace sellers if I can help it.

the only difference in my part was the seller of the product was using hacked accounts to use stolen credit card details and laundering the payments through the Amazon Marketplace, Amazon assumed my account was part of the scam, and the customer service people were horrendous with me.

Twice the ram, same other specs from what I can see. ebuyer.com/749…089

If you get scammed go get a crime number from the plod & go straight to your bank to get a chargeback done sod dealing with Amazon

The MSI GP62 is a nice enough laptop but it's really, really not worth buying a 9XX series based laptop unless it's ridiculously cheap (which this isn't).

Laptops with the 10XX Pascal series chips offer such a significant performance boost that you'd be better getting one of those or waiting until early next year for a price drop. Games like Star Citizen and others due in 2017 will really need that extra GPU processing power.

i paid by credit card but they cant do anything until the money comes out it was still saying pending so i thought they could block it. i finally got someone tonight who filed an a to z claim and told me id get the money back in 1 to 2 weeks what i don't understand it is still saying preparing for dispatch. amazon say they don't pay the seller until it has been dispatched but they cant block the payment. my cards blocked now and a new one is coming in 7 to 10 working days and my card company say they will get their fraud department onto it straight away of it does get taken out ill let yous know

I'd like to echo this as it's sound advice. So far since the release of the 10xx GPUs I've not seen a laptop with a 9xx GPU at a price that makes it worth buying.

Couldn't agree more.

I have an Acer nitro with an i5 and an 860M which runs ok, and the 9 series are re-badges of those.

The 10 series are a whole new ball game. Laptop mobile GPUs traditionally lagged behind the equivalent named desktop version to the tune of 30 -50 %, but the 10 series literally is the same chip, with clocks a little lower (depending on cooling solutions), but they can be tweaked back up.

I'm looking forward to swapping mine out soon as this is the first time ever laptops really are able to replace the desktop PC.

Be careful, I contacted Amazon about scam accounts yesterday and contacted a valid seller about their hacked account. Even-though the scam accounts are easy to see they are still annoying as they tend to list 260 computers models. I'm expecting amazon security to email me today telling me they have cleared them but seemed to me that they didn't really know or care. You have to get to a pretty high level before you find someone who takes an interest there.
