Hey Guys

Not sure if this was already posted, got it by email but assumed it would be posted by others. Seems a decent price for a 1060 although it is the 3gb version:

MSI GP62MVR 7RFX (Leopard Pro)-691UK
  • Intel Core i5-7300HQ Quad Core Processor
  • 15.6" Full HD Screen
  • Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64-bit
  • 8GB DDR4 RAM
  • 256GB SSD + 1000GB 7200RPM HDD
  • Dedicated GeForce GTX 1060 3GB Graphics
  • USB3 | HDMI | Bluetooth | DisplayPort
  • Backlit Keyboard

Anyways, hope its of use for someone. I think it goes back up in price on Monday

I can't be sure but I think this has a TN screen, not an IPS one. If you look at other MSI machines on Saveonlaptops, it seems if the laptop has an IPS screen, it's specifically stated in the description. This one doesn't which is a shame because otherwise I'd be very interested.

I recently got a 4K monitor which has a TN screen and not too sure what people kick off about. Unless you intend to sit at a weird angle facing it, it looks amazing!

If you scroll down under the description on the get deal link... it does say it's an ips screen (on the pictures).

This is a great deal but I will let you know this
The i5 7300hq will bottleneck the 1060 more than an i7 would. Nevertheless still a great device and it will only perform worse than i7/1050ti device in CPU limited tasks
I highly doubt the i5 will bottleneck it at all, any sources?

I personally went for the Dell 7567 that's £990 this weekend with 10% off code. Quad i7, 16GB RAM, same SSD & Hard Drive, 4GB 1050Ti.

That's the kind of spec I want or maybe the 1060, I'm thinking the Alienware 13 looks amazing and the reviews and resale value makes it worth it

Seems decent enough. Always dislike how these laptops never tell you the SSD speed though, as some are not much better than standard HDDs.

Dell 7567. Trying the mobile link. HUKD changes the link to include an advert messing it up.... Don’t forget 10% code. It advertises it on the site

The Dell is a 1050ti which is slower than the 1060 in benchmarks tests. The true gem of this is the 1060.

Anyone who bought it can advise upgrade ram of 8gb.?
