Great price for this laptop and spec, considering I just paid £1532 for it literally last week!

After my purchase the price did go up to to £1699 which I thought was a lot, but seems to have dropped for some reason. No mention of any sale or anything

I done a lot of research and hunting before my purchase. I wanted an MSI one and this was the best spec I could get for my budget, and didnt want a GS or GE model.
Didnt see it anywhere near this price before hitting the checkout button with eBuyer

Kabylake i7-7700HQ 2.8GHz
16GB DDR4 + 256GB SSD + 1TB HDD
15.6" Full HD Display
NIVIDA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
WIFI + Windows 10 Home

Warning: MIND THE BLOATWARE!!!

I'm currently looking for something similar but I don't have that big a budget
And I don't think ebuyer will send to me.

I got my partner the msi ge72 6qd over a year ago for £909 and I can't seem to find one around that price now.
I kinda really want the 17.3" screen and backlit keyboard (just coz he has them haha) I don't mind having lower specs .. But the hunt is killing me...
I'm glad you got one with the specs you wanted!!
What's so bad about the GS or GE models??
Unless you really really need a laptop don't buy one. You could match this for far far less in a desktop. Nonetheless decent deal.

Maybe its worth looking at ones with a 1050Ti or even last gen 980m? Backlit keyboards are a must! haha
Was considering the 17" myself but due to travelling with it from time to time went for the slightly smaller screen.
Where abouts are you based?

And nothing bad about the GS/GE models at all! Just depends what you want - GS is the slimmer versions so lighter and thinner, I prefer a heftier laptop which feels a bit more robust myself, and then the GE's are stripped down spec slightly compared to GT (so 3GB 1060 and/or 128gb SSD instead for example)

I wholly agree with you on that, not to mention future upgrade-ability (is that even a word haha )

My personal situation was I needed a new laptop anyways, plus I'll be between two places quite regularly come the next month or so, so the portability is ideal.

Contact them and ask for the difference back. You never know they might offer you something.

Alternatively return it and buy it again.
I've built a desktop before but I've a little monster now and need to change rooms a lot ,my little workstations upstairs and I'm constantly moving around now.
I was gifted a craptop as I call it ages ago...its seriously slow! To the point of it hurts me to start it up lol
I'm based in Ireland so don't you know they seem to charge a lot more over here also! But I sure love searching for the best deals I can get!

Thanks, I did actually contact them today funny enough, someone should be getting back to me in the next couple of days.
However if they don't,as I've now opened and used the laptop unsure if I will be able to return it
