MSI Armor GTX 1070 - £389.99 - £374.40 (After 4% Quidco Cashback).
Have seen this mentioned in other threads, one of the lower prices i've seen. Though all prices seem heavily inflated over the ~£330RRP.
Seems to be £409 or greater elsewhere (was ~£387 on ebuyer but has since gone up to £414). May be only 3 left in stock (I'm not certain), don't know when more stock may be expected. So this could expire quickly.

edit: Now OUT OF STOCK

Thanks. Corrected

I'm thinking to get a 1070 then a 1080ti next year, but the price is too damn high still.

Nvidia ruined everything with their inflated founders edition pricing. No one appears willing to deviate far from that price point, and why should they when people are willing to pay high prices for reference cooling solutions. I'd be inclined to wait it out a bit until demand dies down, but am worried that any price reductions towards the advertised 330RRP will be countered by Brexit price hikes.

Pick up a 2nd hand 980ti for sub £300. The 1080ti is what you want to wait for. Hopefully Vega will put Ngreedia in line.

I mentioned this deal on another thread a day ago. Just wanted to wait until everything gets tracked and delivered.
Nationwide Simply is account specific and may require an enquiry.
Quidco tracked 4% 15 (+5 account bonus)
Nationwide Simply 4% 15
Potentially 355.

Got a 980ti super jetstream off amazon like new for £295, prob enough power for long enough that 1080s are a reasonable price or even higher than 1080 maybe

60fps on everything I've played on ultra with shadows dropped, running a 970 (Doom, BF4, Overwatch). I do have a Gsync screen though, but I really think these are are for 1440 +

I need the 1070 card to experience VR in the future. Any extra fps will improve the VR experience. Motion sickness is something I will suffer from.
Maybe getting Gtx980 for 235ish so it covers game up to 1440 is another tactic. Then wait and see how the card market plays out for 4k gaming and how console market evolves.
Getting 980ti for under 300 is a great deal. The Prime 20% off warehouse items produces these deals.

the prices are high because there is no competition. The proper AMD cards are not due until the end of this year start of next year... ignoring the filler polaris crap cards.

I am desperate for an upgrade too, but its foolish to buy now.

I know people have been picking up 980TI's at less than £300 the overclockers forum is full of them but where from? All those on ebay are still well over £300

AVForums is a good source.

Does £350 seem like a fair guess at the new RRP? I don't want to bite at this price still.

350 quid could be the price if you have a mate in Aus that will visit soon. And buys a card from Amazon when its back in stock. Of course there is international warranty issues.

Price in the deal include delivery to Aus address and they don't need to pay customs at this level.

Well maybe if you wait a bit the price will fall (this is true for any overpriced PC component) however if you want to benefit from the item now then this does seem a good price. It was rumoured that in the near future these would be sub £300 but that seems unlikely with the GTX 1060 now likely to fill that price point. Anyway I ordered one at this price.

Can anyone tell me if this a good card and how loud it is? Also what is better this of the Evga version? I'm going to pair it with a 6600k, thanks.
