Had one for a few months now and can confirm it runs very cool and quiet, most games on ultra aren't enough to get the fans spinning

Um, ok.

I think he said it because I started the post like that.... for me, totally not sure - but about how hot or cold the post would be received...

Prime is £6.99/month, and the Rog Strix £20 cheaper?

£7.99 if you pay monthly. Otherwise £79 for a year but payed at once.

This guy.

Awesome card!

If only buying this card didn't mean that I also had to replace my 3 144hz gaming monitors as they don't have display port connectors.

Can't you get a DP to HDMI converter or do they have bandwidth issues for 144hz?

brillant card. i paid 430 quid for this and haven't regret it. super cool card. no fan spin below 60°C, it's just so amazing.

yeah you'd be better waiting for the 1080ti. Cos its definitely going to be announced last week.

Use display port to DVI cables.

Didn't even know this card existed. Whats the difference between this and the gaming X? just different clock rates?

Yep! The cpu clock rate. Bit same as the difference between Asus Strix OC and non OC versions.

best thing I invested into had mine since release day and it ran perfect and everything I've through at it got it overclocked to 2050 mhz and had no problems with it since

I purchased on quite early and it performed exceptionally well. Even when overclocked to 2000 mhz, was cool and quiet.

I have one already for my set up but they have to be powered so not ideal. There can also be compatibility issues.

£400 vs (Best guess) £800?? Yes ok, we'll wait for the 1080ti. This is a 1070, completely different playing field

Fair price for 1070, but not the card I'm looking for. I'm keeping my eyes peeled for a good price on the Zotac AMP Extreme 1070 Spectra

I think he was being sarcastic.

Ah, I didn't know there were two cards that looked the same. I would never have known if it wasn't for this.

Most of non "x" versions has micron memory chips on board, that can cause flikering or artifacting when overclocking memory.

The offer has expired now it's £434.99
