That's £365.17 for an 8GB 1080 OC.

That's about regular retail price for a 1070, so bargain in my book?

With a nice shiny Amazon receipt, stating VAT paid.

Unless the card has already been registered with MSI (highly unlikely), I can't see a reason they wouldn't pay out the cashback.

Assuming the cashback is provided it's a good deal, heated for that. Is after purchase manufacturer cashback pretty much guaranteed to happen or is it like TCB or Quidco where they can (seemingly) invent some highly questionable reason they don't have to pay it?

I'm tempted, if only the price was a bit lower (before CB) or it was a better design of 1080, not a fan of only having one puny fan cool such a beefy card, especially in the middle of summer...

The Promotion is valid on new purchases as detailed in the Qualifying Products section of this website.
Waste of time for this money (you can easy get cheaper on ebay etc.)
First of all you might get not working card(they don't check returns) ,and will be used anyway
second of all you will wait months for any MSi cashback on graphic cards (some other company does this not MSI and that company keeps money as long they can for interest.).
Plus 43 pounds is gross and you will only get 34.4 after tax ....

And the invoice will actually state 'used' so cashback very unlikely.

All true what you say, especially getting cashback out of MSI the 'third-party' they use is absolute garbage & ended up more trouble than it was worth chasing them up about it.
Don't think cashback is tax deductible though where did you hear that? I've always been paid full advertised amount

Last time I tried to claim my cashback for Rx 480 8gb (it should have been 20% of original price).
Everybody got 20% minus 20% of tax and it was 16% of original price ,that was excuse they use when people started to asking why 16% instead of 20% ?
I have got this 5 or 6 months after I bought my card and it was pain in the ass ,never again .

Doesn't surprise me. The 'third-party' they use for cashback is so bad it actually damages MSI's reputation... met a lot of people who are sworn off MSI for good after getting burned on cb promos one way or another

If you download the full Amazon invoice, not the Order Summary, it doesn't mention it's used.
I've claimed cashback from Warehouse items before from Sony for example.
