Good laptop GPU with an ok processor in the A10-5750M (but apparently holds the R9 M290X back a bit).I haven't seen one of these MSI laptops as cheap as this before.

why cold? the specifications seems reasonable good.

Because even the i5 4200m is better than this quad core CPU. It will severely bottleneck the R9-M 290X. If there was a decent i5 in there it would be hot hot hot!

And probably a few hundred quid more.

As for bottlenecking the gpu I wouldn't be too sure - it's a mobile 290x so not that fast anyway.


Looks a nice machine - not sure on value or performance - i'd look for some reviews first.
