Will these go in laptops?

You can try, but considering it is probably a third or even half of the size of your laptop I'd say you'll struggle. And then there's the power, cooling and connector issues...

They will invent a perpetual motion machine long before they are able to create a GFX card capable of running Crysis.

No chance. You need a mobile gpu (designated usually by M at the end of the prefix. Search for a Gtx 1060M etc.

If you want a full size gpu in a laptop, then you need a gaming box or an external gpu enclosure.

Most laptops don't have user-replaceable GPUs anyway, and I imagine they'd know if they had a model that did as it usually attracts a price premium.

possibly. all cards have the potential for coil whine.

mine also stays almost silent with a mild OC and doesnt go above 62 degrees when gaming
I also have this card mine is not loud, but be aware the fans will never run below 49%. I thought this was annoying when i found out but actually I'm never conscious of hearing the card at all

If you download Msi afterburner you can change the GPU fans to activate at whatever temperature you'd like and at what rpm.
Given these are going for £180-200 used on ebay I'd say this is a v good deal.
I paid £200 for this about a year ago

Great?
Does anyone have any experience with this card for PUBG and any feedback on how well it stands up to the task? Thanks

Does more than stand up to the task
Twin 90mm fans is fine for a 1060, almost any card should overclock and stay cool.
Coil whine can occur on anything. Jut avoid silly frame rates like rendering the tea pot in pc mark.

Use MSI Afterburner to set fan speed profiles mate : )
If anyone's interested, this card will let you run UHD Netflix in Windows. See here for the full requirements. You could also do the same with a 4GB 1050ti card, which is around £160 on scan
I bought this exact same card for £200 not to long ago. Good to see they're coming back down.

Works well for HTV Vive VR. Plays 95% of the games.

This, like other such posts, was an opportunity three months ago when there where no cards on the market. Since then availability and prices have returned back to normal so I would not consider this an exciting opportunity. Later on this year you should expect cheaper prices as new generation is coming out and possibly a flood of second hand cards.
HotUKRRP! Almost can't believe I've had this card for 2 years now, feels like only yesterday I was paying £240 for it.
