This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Small discount of £30 - but it seems to be the cheapest in UK at the moment - and it's one of the best received and scored 5700s. As per info on the website - stock is expected to arrive on Monday. Good deal imo.

Over £50 cheaper 8 days ago. This is no way a deal.

In b4 "Hur dur time machine"
Not even an XT... Prices really are terrible now.
I'd hold off.

Did any of them even get processed? I was one of the ones who had their order refunded. CCL and TechNextDay had that price and both had no stock.

Looking at the comments for those deals, it didn't look like they did.

I've gone for this deal. I've been looking at getting a RX 5700 or 5700 XT for a couple of weeks now and this has been the cheapest price I've seen a custom 5700 that has good reviews. You can get cards based on the reference 5700 for this price, with its single blower fan, but not custom ones.

As the OP mentions, this particular card has got very good reviews and apparently runs very quietly (see
). It's also built in exactly the same way as the 5700 XT version of this exact card (only the actual GPU is different) and the XT version is supposed to be one of the best you can buy (see
and
).

Anyway, heat added. It's a pre-order, so if something better comes up over the weekend I can always cancel it!

Thanks OP!
7nm yields are super high and most chips are manufactured on it nowadays. So why hasn't this card dropped to the £250 mark already. AMD are so greedy lately.

they're fighting for the market share and are slowly taking it, no reason not to earn money at the same time if there's a demand
Don't forget that most of these cards and their components are made in China, and for obvious reasons production has seen a downturn there lately...

no that's the mech one, which is really terrible design, assuming its the same as the 5700 xt version.

The on in the OPs post is a good deal considering the market right now. It's great to just say 'wait for covid to blow over' - but don't forget that could be a year from now for all we know, especially the way the government keeps talking!! If you have a good card now, its fine to wait, people building coz they are bored though......

Yeah true bud. Its my retail therapy at the moment.
@jamiejohn1990 Nice videos thanks. Should be able to overclock these nicely then without even risking the flash to XT bios. Almost makes me regret ordering a 5700XT earlier in the week for 380!!

I wouldn't be so sure of that man, nvidia outsold them 2 to 1 last quarter in the 5700/5700xt price bracket. Add to that nvidia likely have higher margins, their products being priced substantially higher (2070S is a £100 premium over an XT) and I'd say business wise, nvidia are dominating amd.

You could go buy a GTX 2060 super to get the same performance from Nvidia.

Oh wait, you'd need another £125+ for that. Who exactly is being greedy with their pricing?
I'd say it's good value. Gaming X is the top of the line MSI card and has pretty good cooling where so many other 5700/XTs have a crappy one. I boutght the MSI Mech a while ago for £280 and it's just not capable enough. Having said that I did flash it with the MSI 5700XT Evoke. It was very easy. Other than increasing the default clocks and power limit, it raised the max available ones and enabled the fan stopping below 60 degrees. Very happy with the result.

Also i don't think anyone got the cards from the cheaper deal a few days ago.

doesn't change a fact, that AMD's market share in gpu AND cpu markets is growin - but obviously you're right, nvidia is dominating in the gpu segment
Prices are mental now. I paid £510 for a ROG Strix 2070 super about 3 months ago. Just seen the same card on Overclockers for £719.99 😳

For gpus for sure but the ryzen series of CPUs has really blown intel away, bang for buck. I'm not a fan boy of either but it's great for the consumer.

Back to this deal, it's not bad considering the current climate. I'm still on a 580 at the moment not so much motivation to upgrade just yet.

Indeed the cpus are absolutely fantastic, and a big reason why I still buy amd gpus despite them being worse. I want amd to win! They're making pc gaming viable
Based on the current market, which is the only way to assess this really, this is a good deal. Would be churlish to argue otherwise.
Mine arrived this morning for anyone wondering about it saying pre-order.

Lucky you! Just adding to this:
I ordered this last week as well. Mine hasn't been dispatched yet, so I rang them up today for an update - according to the support team member I spoke to, the stock that was due to arrive on 27th has been used up and there's 7 (including mine) still in the que. Bummer.
Stock could arrive any time in the next 1-2 weeks apparently. Hopefully sooner rather than later, but just so everyone knows any pre-orders will be added to the que and to expect a bit of a wait.

That's pretty poor. I ordered over the weekend so assumed that they'd have fulfilled all their orders when mine got posted yesterday. It must have just been luck who did \ didn't get theirs. Hopefully yours gets sent sooner rather than later.

Yeah, sucks. I was just unlucky, with one of my other products I ordered going out of stock too, so have to wait a week-ish before they get that back in.
Enjoy your GPU! I'm upgrading from an RX480, so should be quite the improvement.

Same here funnily enough I’m going from an RX480 4GB so expect a decent jump.
It's £9.99 cheaper now

£265 here

MSI is the better deal, comes with free games and is a far better cooler
This is back in stock and I just ordered one. If you need an upgrade now, which I do trying to drive 1440p on an RX480, then it's the best deal around £300.
