Check reviews before buying. It's a poor choice. Though it's a good price. Heat for price freezing for product
From the recent hardware unboxed review this is noisier than reference and barely much cooler. Good price but terrible card so cold.
Again, decent price but not a good version of the 5700xt at all

Yup, saw their RX 5700 XT roundup before. It looks like you'd be better off spending the extra on the Gigabyte OC Gaming or the Sapphire Pulse. I think I might go for the Gigabyte Card myself.
Same card is only £336 + £4 delivery from Amazon.fr using a few free card, brrrr cold in here.

The Gigabyte model has major QC issues. Decent card when it's assembled properly, but there are a lot of units out there which are wrongly assembled and therefore have major thermal issue (reaches 105C)

Gamers Nexus and Harware Unboxed have the Gigabyte Gaming OC as their best buy.

Actually it isn't. Better off wtih the Sapphire pulse, red dragon or XFX Thicc (that had some thermal issues but XFX are replacing the cards free of charge for the early batches)..

Will they be removing all the cheap plastic and back plate from the THICC then? xD

Mostly replacing the baseplate that cools memory etc to be more effective and make contact with the main heatsink for transfer. The plastics and stuff will probably stay but the main issue was the memory temps as it otherwise still ran a bit better than reference. Personally I'd remove the plastic trim too and then you've got a pretty good card that looks nice as well. They might also rework on the backplate so it doesn't trap heat.

Like I said: it's a decent card when it's assembled properly, which theirs was. But when not, expect temps of 105C or more. I've been getting this information mainly from a Dutch techreview site (tweakers.net)

Sapphire or Powercolor when it comes to AMD

Nope the Gigabyte RX 5700 XT Gaming OC is the best overall from those two sites - the pulse just comes second :

Gamers Nexus:
youtube.com/wat…69s

Hardware Unboxed:
youtube.com/wat…40s

As for any thermal issues - this card doesn't have manufacturing problems that are in the main and it doesnt have a reputation for them. Just because some people had issues and and shout about them doesn't mean it's poorly manufactured generally. Every manufacturer has issues from time to time with batches.

Like most are. Obviously when manufacturing issues arrise there will be issues - that is not the same thing as this card being manufactured poorly in the main. There are issues with all cards from time to time the tear downs prove it's a solid value design.
