A Vega 56 GPU... this will certainly cause some "comments"..

i.e the 5700 - 5700xt Fan boys. "me included in that line".

yesterday you could of got a 5700 for £30 extra... Brand new too unopened.

this is a clearance "open box item"... for the price of £228.... . they should be this price typical RRP by now,

it is a very decent card non the less, it will give you great FPS, and if we forget about yesterday deals and look at bang for buck what we can by now from a decent retail with warranty and u cant spend a penny more then £230.....

cos alternative you the have the 1660 supers. or a tenner more for the mini 1660 ti.

# nice start up GPU for them start up pre builders ive been talking tooo..

only 1.

It's hard to recommend these are the moment. The regular price drops on the 5700 make it a hard sell.
Too expensive for a V56 now especially blower.
They need to get a bit real with these cards. £190 would be more realistic
Will be interesting what the price of the 5600XT will be as it may be a direct match performance wise for the 56.

i can see where your going with the 190 statement, ideal it needs to be a £230 card............. like the 5700 is a 300 card.... n the xt 360 card.... and then when they do these ebay offers they all come down in line at the same time, would be a nice fitting.

5700 = 2060 battle.
5700 xt = 2070 battle.
56 vs 1660 super/ti battle..

however old offers are "gone"...... where can u buy a vega for less atm?.. and can u buy a better card then this vega for anything less today? not really.. if budget tight, looking for that cheap build n were considering a super today, this is a great alt item for them.. but if u can afford extra and dont mind waiting to the next ebay comes along! then wait.

choices choices choices

The 5700 is quite regularly on offer for around £260 which makes this look quite poor.

Depends, I agree at an absolute case. But people are lapping up the 1660 super for 220, and the Vega 56 is a solid 10% faster, and overclocks like a beast.

yep! got my v56 running steady at 1600/925, an amazing card for the money - the performance of my (blower) 56 is on par with the avg 5700 (non-xt) in firestrike/timespy/userbenchmark

Sweet man, yeah the 5700 got a lot of attention but that's just because people never really gave vega a chance. The new rx series isn't much of a jump tbh, however in VR they absolutely demolish the Vegas, so there's that.
This really is a £150 card at best these days. No way it can be recommend at its current price. Especially since most models sound like a hairdryer is on.

Not sure what you're smoking bud, the Vega 56 is a lot faster than a 1660 super (in some cases 30% more fps) see youtube.com/wat…FwA
And the Vega easily overclocks wayyy beyond a super. It's a much, much better card.

The 1660 super frequently comes on here for 200, so I have no idea why you think the amd card should be £50 quid cheaper than something it knocks out of the park!

I think your reply was for somebody else? I don't know what a 1660 super is to be fair I just think the vega 56 is too expensive personally.

Dude the 1660 super retails around £180-£200 and this card is better, so why would it bet one fiddy

Well then the answer is simple. The 1660 is priced to high as well. That card should be priced at £99 and the vega 56 should be £150. I'm glad we sorted this out, cheers man good night 😴
