No it's still there. As I'm a rookie member of HDUK I'm still not sure how the linking protocol works except to say from an empirical user perspective it munges them badly more often than not.

If you follow the instructions at the top of my first post you'll locate the deal

I'm all for hashed URL's and use tinyurl in all other situations. But when I submit using the hotdealsuk interface, theyre blocked and/or moderated. Any idea why?

Don't buy this Win 7 Starter, awful. Get one with Win XP instead (or upgrade to full Win 7 @ a price)

PS: can buy mine for £135 (2 months old, so 10 months warranty left).

Pretty impressive to have an N450 Windows 7 model at this price given they have only come out recently. Not a bad buy at all for £150, Argos Clearence Bargains really is the place to go for a cheap computer.

I'm selling the U130 because it has Windows 7 on it which I hate, not because the netbook is poor.

It's actually quite a good netbook but I want Windows XP, so will have to look for a U100.

I will put my U130 on ebay for next week (unless someone wants to buy now

how much you want for it and where in the country are you ?

Possible interest here too

Throw it in the for sale section with some pictures

never noticed the for sale section. will list it there.

Great PC

I had a Samsung nc10 and then n120 (windows 7 starter) and this (u130 black win7 starter) is as good if not better. It is my son's PC (5) and he can use the win7 screens well and doesn't need all the bells and whistles - battery lasts maybe 3 hours. (mine is HP mini 311c which is better but bigger than those but has noisy fan).

Excellent value from me as it looked new - bluetooth not working initially so called trch support (Argos use a 3rd party support company) who told me use FN + F11 to toggle throuh BT, WiFI and works nicely now. The support person was excellent so from that point of view very pleased too.

Agreed, I personally think the fact people are advising others to buy an obsolete Windows XP model over this is laughable. Windows 7 Starter is basic but it does the job, and you can remove the restrictions through mods or entering the product key of Home Premium or whatever.

I recently bought one which was visually perfect, no scratches. It had to be returned to fix a keyboard fault but once I got it back, it was working fine. Worth the hassle as it has the newer chipset and uses (apparently) less power meaning longer battery life! Window 7 starter is basic but it's a notebook not a full blown games machine! It does what it says in the tin! Surf the net, play music and movies with a little word processing - what more do you want for less than £155. A bargain if you can get hold of one.
