any good?

Yep - bought one - added Win7 Home Premium (dual boot with XP) and it works like a dream. Mine looked brand new although stated refurb. For the money it's a cracker.

Well worth it for a netbook. Try ubuntu as an alternative OS.

SOLD OUT i missed out there :-(

could question the reliability of the new models with a steady flow of refurbs , mine was returned with a screen fault after 2 weeks .

Deals like these are usually around every other week - if you wanted one then keep your eyes peeled. :]

these refurbs are not worth the hassle; mine had a fault, as have many others, and had to be returned.
Obviously no testing is being done of these machines, and the original faults - which is probably why they were returned in the first place - are still there

dont bother with this one bought one over 9 months ago (on grabit now) on trying to power on did not work sent in for work sent back to me powerd on keyboard did not work sent back said did not want item back so they sent a better model (this taken over 5 weeks) worked fairly well apart from wireless droping out randomly 7 months later screen failed sent new laptop wireless the same( i have 3 laptops all work fine on wireless) wireless the same on new latop fed up of kids asking me to fix i have gone for the samsung netbook posted a few days ago bit slow but seams to work ok (dixons)

I'll think i'll stick wth my Macbook Pro.

though are they really refurbs .... may be a way of getting round having some stock left with XP installed - not 100% certain of this but don't think that MS allow new machines with XP to be sold as new now.
