I think I will stick with my Voodoo 2

I'm not a fan of Very, but this is definitely hot from me. Arguably one the better 2080Ti's on the market and priced in the same range as the lower end 2080Tis. I think I paid slightly more than this for a Windforce OC 2080Ti for instance, and that is not great card in all honesty.

Exactly! You literally cannot get this card cheaper elsewhere and it's a hell of a card. But...people vote cold because they think 1k for a graphics card is crazy wrong. Hopefully it will help someone though

Well it is a crazy like, given how much more expensive it is compared to the previous Nvidia flagship card, but that's the current price you've got to pay if you want to play games in 4K at a high refresh rate. Some people will pay it, like myself and others won't. Each to their own.
Voted hot, would love one but looks like I'll be rocking the 1080ti for sometime.

A 2080Ti is 30% faster than a 1080Ti or 2070S for double the price. Cold, however you look at it.
It's a GPU I have an alert set up for, because, like others have said, it is a good card....It's a good price, but perhaps not a great price. Heat added but I am still not persuaded enough to spend £1100 on a GPU. If they (2080ti's) drop to ~ £800 I'll reconsider

Thank you! And me too, no wonder i never see posts for these with the "im voting cold just because" attitude. It's a deals site! Not a review site
And agree, not a blinding deal, but cheapest out there atm...and 9 months bnpl if anyone needs it

Rubbish comparison is rubbish. Why not compare a Mondeo to a Veyron, you pay because its the best.

The Titan V was miles more expensive than this (last flagship)

The Titan cards are classed as workstation cards, so they fall into a different category. Much like with CPUs, a 9900K is considered the flagship model despite Intel always having their HEDT platform with up to an 18 core CPU, not to mention the servers CPUs above that.

So the 2080Ti is considered the flagship consumer/mainstream GPU, much like the the 1080Ti before it. Even though there's more expensive and better performing cards above it.

If could be as low as 15% faster, but if that 15% is the difference between them is 51FPS and 60FPS at 4K, then for some people that's still worthwhile.

Quadro is the workstation card
Thanks. I bought 4 to SLI 😋
"blah blah blah 4k blah blah blah"
If you're wanting to get the best VR on your Pimax you want this card (or similar). 4k is so passé

Performance/price ratio always gets lower on the premium gpu’s, nothing new here. The 2080Ti is excessive but if people are willing to pay it then that’s what they will charge.
Good deal and the only answer to true 4k gaming on PC.
Out of stock...

Or, you know...get a 1440p monitor and play at >100fps. 60 FPS is awful compared to 100fps+. And, save £600-800 in the process.

I wouldn't bother, let them waste their money. Many people use long hdmi leads to the tv so the fps isn't a true reading. Suffered it myself playing through my panny.

This may surprise you, but Nvidia have more than one line of workstation cards.

That's because it probably got voted cold by either people who only spend 2 to £300 on a GPU and don't see the point of spending more. Or by people who think the entire RTX line is overpriced (which it is) but the point is this is still a great deal . The price on the 2080ti is ridiculous, but as far as pricing goes this is cheap for a 2080ti.
I think reconditioned 2080 Ti's from ebay offer better value. However the X-Trio new for £1099 is a Billy bargain. If it was not expired I'd vote hot!
