I looked everywhere for some decent stabilisers and by chance stumbled across these. Okay we know sports direct have a bad rep, but this is a fab price for a decent make of child’s bike stabilisers.

[Video] Save yourself 11 quid and doesn't involve lining Ashley's pockets.

I've five kids. Taught them all in two minutes. Also taught several of my son's and daughter's friends.

I just get a flat area, hold their clothing at nape of neck and get them peddling. Once they are moving I let go. First time they realise you've let them go they come to a stop, second time you let them go they refuse to stop.

I think one of the greatest bonds you can form with a kid is to teach them the magic of cycling.

Helmet compulsory.

It is some time since the brand "Muddy Fox" were a decent brand. The name is now owned by Sports Direct.
Lol fair enough! I bought these though and found they were great quality
I still use mine since the age of 4! 41090022-vjUu9.jpg
Worst idea ever for a child's balance development. Buy a balance bike.
Tell that to urbanbushwacker, he is still loving his set after all this time

Regardless of teaching methods and opinions on learning how to ride, this is a great deal if you choose to use stabilisers (which have been used as a training aid for decades).

Mike Ashley is notorious, but irrelevant to this deal. I’m sure there are many other individuals just like him heading up other big chains and supermarkets.

2 of my kids don’t use stabilisers and never did, our youngest wanted to ride and keep up with them so we bought him stabilisers and now he can, they are a stop gap to build his confidence

I hope this deal helps some like minded parents out and helps to get their kids riding
This may be a better solution at least they can pick up the shopping at the same time?🚲41090988-MTzny.jpg
