£5.80 needs to be added to this since the bike is only available for home delivery. Good price evenso.

good price

Absolute Bargain!!

Good Price, Dads birthday present sorted :-)

crazy cheap price. i rushed out to get one when it was offer at £99. still have assembled it, should've waited!

Is this bike any good Though?

I've been looking for a bike, and didn't want to spend to much.

Looked at the reviews on here when it was £99 then it went to £79 (see below), and they look OK, so now I've ordered one.

I'll only be using it high days and holidays, good for the dosh I think. ;-)

That depends who you ask. It's a cheap steel framed bike (muddy Fox were once a decent manufacture but no they're just a name on cheap bikes). It looks good enough for me for occasional rides with the kids and even more occasional commuting (if you can call it that - I usually walk and it takes 10 minutes). My rule of thumb is avoid full suspension bikes and accept that if you give it any serious use then the first time it goes wrong it's probably not gonna be worth fixing. Others will tell you to spend £50/£100/£900 more.

Looks decent for a cheap bike to me - very tempted as my steel-framed Specialised Hot-Rock built from bits out of a skip is having trouble changing gear. I can't imagine I'm gonna get a bike worth riding for any less (unless I go back to the skips!).

Bargain...

No it isn't, it's area dependent

still showing as in stock for me!?

I'm still seeing this in stock, maybe a bit quick with the expire button folks.

I've ordered one, home delivery only, requested delivery next wednesday for me in Essex.

All done and dusted, full cost with delivery £73.79. ;-)

Only for your areas, not all

Bear in mind that it's 26"! 19" is just about right for someone who is 6ft tall.

That's weird because my 6 year old son rides a 20"

I think you are mistaken.

Think you may be getting confused with frame and wheel size. I ride a 17" frame mountain bike and I am 5 ft 2in.

Unless he means 20" wheels. 20" from from CC Bottom bracket to CC Seat Tube is very big frame.

Regarding the bike, the headtube looks way to small / weak to be doing any serious off -roading. Steel frame and suspension without lock-out will suck energy.

Will people stop expiring this prematurely, just cos it's outta stock near you!

It's a steel frame and Muddyfox have really done down hill but you won't get another bike like that for that price.

Absolute bargain shame its expired now.

Your 6 year old son rides a 20" bike? He must be pretty tall. I'm 5 foot 8 and ride an 18" one. A 20" one is too big.

Still available for delivery in W London..

26" is the wheel size - Same with all standard adult mountain bikes.

21" is the frame size (and the measurement that matters, assuming you're adult of course)

A 21" frame is L-XL for a mountain bike. I can't understand how the specs state it would be suitable for a 29" inside leg - if this really has a 21" frame, then it won't be. (Only suitable for around 6 foot plus).

No stock showing for me. Is Argos delivery stock regional?

If it's delivery only the cost needs to be included in the posted price.

so it would be a good size for a 6ft 4in bloke with a new years resolution to cycle to the station?

OOS for me. Shame coz I want a cheap bike to ride to work

I put it together yesterday [25mins btw.] and have used it, I'm 5' 10" [32" leg] and its absolutly fine with the saddle adjusted to midway height.

Then that sounds like its somewhere around an 18"-19" frame and Argos have got the frame size wrong. Useful information thanks!
