Gets 4 out of 5???

they is a similer one in aldi for 4.99

this was the worst pump i ever bought, took it back as it felt like plastic. got a beto tripod pump from ebay for £15

@cattythefatty - I can vouch for the £4.99 at Aldi. It's a good pump, I have been using it this afternoon. Great gauge as well and effortless for both Presta and Schrader valves. Highly recc'ed.

All the bad reviews are at least 2 years old now!!.....so the 4/5 star rating holds good if not better presently. There is a pool of 60 reviews....

This has not had a very good review from HUKD even though 294oC hot......

Mine fell apart pretty quick, you can't beat Topeak pumps.

i got one of the Aldi ones last week, it was great at deflating tyres but wouldn't inflate !!, took it straight back for a refund.

I have one of these. It pumps up tyres OK but I don't think it will last that long because the build quality doesn't appear to be the best. I certainly wouldn't rely on it at a competitive event but it works OK for £10.

Cheap sports direct tat, sorry. I'd trust the aldi one much more

How do I clip that on my crossbar?

Seems like a fair deal, for a quality pump. Hot

Don't know that anyone has ever accused this of being a quality pump

terrible reviews and cheaper @ sports direct? Cold from me.

Is this available in-store at Sports Direct? Otherwise you will have to add delivery charge....???!!

Would suggest this as an alternative: http://www.wiggle.co.uk/lifeline-high-pressure-floor-pump/

Yes, it's more expensive. No, it won't break.

Agreed - bought a JoeBlow sport for about £25+ (from Evans cycles i think). Yes it's more...but it's seriously sturdy and quick inflating. It will last, this MF one probably wont.

EXCELLENT - thanks went to wiggle as you said. Got free delivery and 3% back from quidco

cheers!

I bought one of these last week and will be taking it back soon, it really is not very good. I would rather pay twice the price (or a little more) for a decent track pump like a Topeak Joe Blow.

Better off with this wiggle.co.uk/top…ump Double the price but the quality is great.

It's not very good. Broke after 10th use. Would have taken it back if I had the receipt.

Mentioned the Joe Blow and Lifeline ones earlier today

The Muddyfox one really isn't worth saving 10 pounds for.

I bought this from sports direct for £10 at Xmas time. It was terrible to use the first time, but did pump up a tyre, but then broke (head plastic cracked) after pumping up 5 tubes. Would have taken it back if it hadn't waited months (for the weather to change) before using it.

I ended up getting a good quality one for £10.50 delivered when it was on offer, and it's so worth getting a good one of these when you have 4 bikes.

Edit: Seems it's the same as the Lifeline one, just with different decals.

Joe Blow or Lifeline? Which one is better?

Joe Blow or Lifeline? Which one is better?

The Joe Blow is better, but only if you think you may want spares or it to last forever rather than 100 years. Otherwise they're about the same

Thanks! Well, they're on wiggle at about the same price so can't see any reason to go for the lifeline then.

Costs more I know, but it's worth the extra £8. Good compromise between paying fortunes and getting a superb pump.

I have just done exactly the same. They were very good about taking it back but I now have a flat tyre and no pump....

COLD

Sno Joe Blo!

Had one for 2 years. Used it for bottle rockets and countless tyres (including the car) and never had a problem. The lock however can be pretty stiff, especially on presta tubes, but all in all an excellent pump.
