anyone got one or seen one?

considering for christmas
Good deal for a young child this Christmas, just beware it will rust, will be very heavy... but for £50! I dont think there is much out there that will beat it
Against my better judgement I bought my son one of these (it was a different colour scheme but looks like the same bike) a couple of years ago for riding to school on. It's really not very well built and was covered in rust within less than 6 months. It was kept in the shed at home, but left outside during the school day so did get a reasonably regular soaking. But I'm not just talking about a few allen bolts starting to look a bit orange, the paint on the wheel rims came off ridiculously easily and the rims then rusted away before we'd realised what was happening and there's lots of bubbling started on the frame and forks.

I definitely wouldn't buy another. I'd recommend Decathlon for good quality budget bikes, even their cheaper models (although dearer than this) still seem to be pretty well built.

if it last 6 months i'll be happy, ideal price for a starter bike

I've got one for my son for Christmas. Like you said perfect for starter bike, he'll probably hardly use it.
Fancy getting it just to do bar spins
Can't go wrong for less than £50 IMO, when it rusts you could always have the frame blasted & powder coated for less than £50.
what age is this bike for?
7+ for a 20" Bmx.

Or buy another one
Bought one last time they were on offer (they are regularly) -

If you know it won't last, check it's screwed together tightly thoroughly before use and expect it to be heavy you won't go far wrong. I bought mine as a first bike after the stabiliser jobby he learnt on and it's ideal for that - no matter how well you teach your little one to respect there stuff most will hammer a bike pretty hard - you can't go wrong for under £50.
Seriously, anyone getting anything from Sportsdirect expecting quality that lasts is naive. Its just cheap carp and sometimes thats all you need. If you want a bike to hand down several generations, this isnt the bike for you. If you just wanna get about and not lose too much if some scummer is desperate enough to nick it, then it is.

PS Heat.
If your kid has expressed an interest in local BMX ramps/parks then this definitely isn't the bike to get, otherwise if you accept it'll probably last 6 months (or until they got bored), it's certainly not a bad price.
After reading all the comments, I feel that it should change its name to Rustyfox.
for £49 are you honestly gonna find anything better?

got mine delivered this morning, nice fast delivery, not assembled it yet but looks good enough in the box.

perfect for a first timer or someone who hasn't shown that much interest
Mine came this morning, put it together in about 30mins, not the easiest thing I've ever assembled. Looks ok, very pleased with it for less than £50.
I bought one for my son last week. I ordered it on Friday evening and it arrived the next morning. I had paid £6 for next day delivery, but as I'd ordered after 4.00PM on the bank holiday weekend, I was told to expect it on Tuesday. The box was wet, the instruction manual was soggy but readable and several screws were rusty. But for £50, it's a good deal.

My 8 yr old son is after a bmx this year, hes about average height for his age and I know bmx with 20" wheels are supposed to be suitable from 7 years but can any tell me if they think will be just too weighty for a kid? (I thought muddyfox was supposed to be an ok make?)
Great price
