just ordered one @ £12.60
looks good!
Just ordered @ £12.60 inc del. you follow the link to the mccoy website and it all works fine. Great at this price
Hot! Been looking for a decent jacket for ages although couldn't get the code to work :O(
Ordered - Thanks!
Totally made up RRP, and not likely to be breathable at all, but probably similar quality to those you get in the cycling offers at Aldi/Lidl. They're usually £15-20, which makes this a decent enough price for a cheap jacket.
My brother in law recommended it to me.
He's well into his Mountain Biking.
Keeps him warm and doesn't leave him drenched in sweat .... oO

bah humbug to you too

Thanks, also grabbed a matching pair of padded cycling shorts, used the discount link you mentioned and got both for £18.90. Should match my bike lovely.

I voted it hot and said it was a decent price.... Just giving some info on the quality of the jacket, i,e, it's not great but decent price for a cheap jacket!?!
popped into local Sportsworld , tried XXL and adopted riding position and cuffs no longer reach the wrists , so expect exposed cold wrists when you're hunched over the handlebars , instore the jackets are priced @ 2 for 28£ or a single jacket for 15£ .
..while in the store there was a big dust up & name calling involving a couple and the staff ... just don't know why people cant wait their turn instead of jumping queues
..errrr... sorry I digress , back to the jacket , the orange one's really bright , no label info at all regarding water resistance/ proofness ..defo not breathable material and no hood but not bad for £12.60 !!

they also had the Pro1 Mind Puzzles for almost 7£ but they're 4£ online so waited till I got home to purchase everything. The MCcoy 10% codes worked

Hi darklight,
I ordered the XXL. I'm 15 stone and 6'4''. Do you think it'll fit me?
Cheers

Hi Rawhead,
I'm 18 stone and have quite broad shoulders but the XXL's quite generous , sleeves were right length when I stood up erect.. they covered my wrists , but when I adopted the cycling position , the sleeves just rucked up.
At 15 stone & wearing an XXL you I fear you may find the shoulders droop a bit but this in turn may allow wrist coverage in all riding positions
Cheers Pal
Mine just arrived ! oO
Fits a treat.
Also got a free mug. (A giant mug!)

Fantastic service
Got the free mug (need to create some cupboard space now), would say jacket is quite tight across the shoulders ideal for basic cycling, maybe a size up if you want to use it off road.
got mine! free GIANT mug too
It looks like they have just changed the name from karrimor to muddy fox for all the cycling gear because its near identical .Good price £12 though.I paid £20 for the karrimor ones and you do get a bit sweaty but you don't notice it until you stop (then you freeze)
Waterproof?
tempted, but ill still but wet riding in the rain anyway lol

hot looks a good price regardless.
im 5'10 with broad shoulders should I go with a large or Extra large?

Delivery cost me £3.99 but worth buying online with the £16 saving using the 10% code.

You still get a free mug though

Sports Direct have taken over both of these companies, therefore quality has taken a huge nosedive.

Is Muddy Fox another brand that Mike Ashley has snapped up and started churning out loads of cheap merchandise? (similar to what has happened with Karrimor)

It is. Muddy Fox is now owned by Universal Cycles which is majority owned by Mike Ashley.

Not very breathable, says one review: -

Definitely waterproof and warm in the wind but doesn't breathe at all. … Definitely waterproof and warm in the wind but doesn't breathe at all. After a 40 minute journey you will probably be as wet on the inside as the outside! Still it is quick drying when turned inside out and doesnt 'smell' so if you have a shower at work and somewhere to hang your clothes then it will be fine for the journey home if combined with quick drying polyester climbing / walking t-shirt. Folds nicely and fits in the bottom of a Pannier bag so a handy purchase. Looks good on too.

it boil in a bag as been using 1 this winter
it will keep you warm and dry in most rain tho and once folded up its very small
I have bought one and it seems good arrived yesterday.
Do a quick review on Google - I'm voting cold & soggy - just like this jacket will be in any kind of rain!
After a hi vis cycling jacket can any one recommend?

AMAZON DEAL IS SPORTS DIRECT OUTLET, SO YOU CAN PAY THE £3.99 POSTAGE AND THE EXTRA £2.40. SCHOOLBOY? REMEDIAL!
tried this jacket on today at the shop... nasty.

You will end up wet and soggy, feels like a normal cheap rain mack with a logo on it.

Would personally avoid and save your pennies for a better quality item.
