Got one of these for my Sons Birthday, and it really is a great bike, well made, and with some slight adjustments, the brakes and 18 gears! work fine.Obviously the £199.99 original is rather inflated, about double I'd say, and this has been £79.99 before, but for a bike of this size and quality, a bargain for a recognised brand.
Not able to reserve, so it's £5.95 for the delivery, but to be honest, it's well worth it, considering the a) the petrol cost collecting, and b) avoiding the difficulty many may have getting the large box in their car.

I'd say this bike would probably be suitable for ages around 9-12, but the best way is to measure your childs height and inside leg length and then use one of the many online guides, to see which frame/wheel size is best.Anyway, here's the details....

Also worth check your local Poundland / 99p Stores, if you're considering this bike as a present, or any bike really, as they have some good accessories you could add, such as multi functions front & rear lights, lock cables, foldway stand, bike pump, and useful things like puncture repair kits, foldaway bike spanner / hex set, and even bike inner tubes. They also had some mud guards and bike covers, seat covers, but these aren't very good imo.

BTW, here's a better view of the bike....

good price but after buying 2 muddy foxes in last 4 years i'd recommend staying well away. First bike front and rear derailler broke second one the actually frame had a hairline crack never seen it before and neither had guy in shop just a heads up with bikes you tend to get what you pay for.

Also check EVERYTHING about the bike when you receive it and not do what we did. Bought one from Argos just before xmas and was home delivered with some amount of self -assembly required. No problem or so I thought. Put bike together in a basic fashion so daughter could see it on xmas day. With the weather being so awful lately only now got round to setting it up properly i.e. adjusting brakes, gears etc to discover the front wheel is badly warped.

As it is outside the 30 day returns period they have asked us to get an independent report from Halfords etc outling whether it is a manufacturing fault before they will consider repairing/replacing it.

My fault I know but just a warning to be aware.

I would avoid as well - we got a different bike but at a similar discount - bolts for mudguards were missing and Muddyfox customer services were shocking. Told me bike was old stock (fair enough), said they couldnt send me the missing part, would have to send full mudguard set (after the 3rd phone call) - sent me a completely different mudguard which wouldnt fit. From that point on completely disinterested and couldnt take back to ARGOS as I'd let him ride it (which would be fine becuase the new mud guard was on the way).
