£1.89 (exchange rate @ 25/09/10). Great deal for a multifunction torch. I bought one a while ago, very good light. Comes with handlebar mount.

i had 2 of these and every time i went over a bump they turned off,u get what you pay for i suppose....

It's hardly going to come with batteries for that price fella!!

I wasn't complaining just pointing it out to others before they did

Unlucky... I mounted mine securely on the handlebars and I've had no such problem....

Got one from Poundland..@ of course £1.

You beat me to it, these look identical to one I bought from poundland too.

Had quite a few of these for bike but they all stopped working quite quickly. Bought s similar product from Wilkinsons for about a tenner and that has been very reliable and came with an LED back light too.
I found these lights to be false economy I'm afraid.

I got one that looks very similar to this one, the handlebar mount is absolutely tiny though. I couldn't fit it on any of my bikes it's so small!

Yep i thought that too !

Also Got a few of these from poundland for the family.

As a few have already mentioned, these are identical to the ones at Poundland. I used to buy these on ebay regularly, until I spotted them in Poundland. There basically disposable really, as they break quite easily if you happen to catch or knock them while monted on the handlebar, they snap off.

I found a very similar type of rubberised version of the same type/size LED torch in Poundland, (without the mounting slot) but if you can find a universal mount, it works much better, and is waterproof also.

Interestingly this torch bike light looks exactly like my ralegigh rsp bike light which i purchased as a kit for £20. I would not be surprised if raleigh buys it from the same manufacturer re brands it to RSP(which stand for Raleigh special product) and sells it at a much higher price.
Now to the bike light it self it has 2 modes constant and flashing mode takes 4 aaa batteries is water resistant and generally very well made for the money. It illuminates roads pretty well (can be seem for miles) and generally the battery last a long time provided that you have some decent rechargeable batteries in it. So yah heat added.. and in fact i would advice buying 2 if you are a night rider at this price you can put both of them on the bike and am sure that you will not regret doing it... well hope this helps...:))))

Haha after reading other peoples comments of this product it seems as if its not the same as RSP that i have as mine works very well and does not suffer of any problems mentioned above.

DealExtreme sell cheap universal mounts. I bought one which is a friction fit, which works very well. I also bought one with Velcro straps on it, because I wanted to fit it to a larger diameter handlebar. This works, but the lamp (quite a subtantial P7 LED one) wobbles around a bit.

gaffer tape the lot, make it look like army spec

Not much good if you need to remove your lamp to prevent theft!
