I don’t know what I would do with any of them cheap items, but worth buying one for a free £5 voucher
Do not buy this I bought one last year, It's as good as a chocolate teapot
Bought one a couple of years ago for same price, it's made of 1mm box section steel and buckles with the slightest bit of hard work. Mine broke when I folded it back up for the first time... Don't waste a tenner.

Actually not a bad deal, for a tenner I can see loads of uses.

Yeah they're only 5.5x the price
I would pay a tenner to keep these things away from me.

I know it goes against logic as cheap tools are fine for limited use, but those screwfix workbenches are awesome. You can use them as picnic tables, or even an additional dinner table for the kids at xmas when the house is full
Those metal/wood ones are horrendous. They bend and jam, wobble and topple.
These are fine if you go easy on them, get 2 and you have a set of trestles. Did our house up using these, still got them, the rubber feet have a habit of falling off, stuck mine on with bathroom sealant, end of problem.

Great stuff. Now just need someone to post another link where its the same thing again but cheaper lol
I've had one these for years, for light weight with work where you just need something held they are perfectly serviceable. Clearly not designed for full on building projects and you'd be stupid to think they were

My goodness, what a beautiful design. And foldily practical.
Got this last time it was this price , pretty cheaply built
Used to cut my laminate boards
Would not recommend it if you think it will last you more than a couple of jobs
Got this from Maplins a while back.I'ts been great for DIY jobs. Love the colour too.
Don't forget you can get it cashback via TCB/Quidco.
Bought one of these last year at this price when I needed to replace and fit 11 internal doors. Sure it's as light and flimsy as you'd expect for the money, but it was worth it's weight in gold for the job in hand and even if I never use it again was well worth the money.
The Macalister metal topped workbench in Screwfix is £59.99 yet in B@Q is £50 , both part of the group but Screwfix usually cheaper.
This good value and as said worth it for the casual DIYer.

Most useless item in my inventory bought and never used lol
TC has this:
"Place a reserve and pay-instore or purchase online for collection in store on maplin.co.uk for £10 or more between Friday 1st December and Wednesday 6th December 2017 and receive a free £5 voucher and spend between Tuesday 26th December and Monday 8th January 2018 inclusive.
The voucher will be issued in store on payment or collection of the product ordered."

So, if click and collect, you need two trips. Not for me as my nearest store is in more than 10 miles away
Heat anyways for the deal
This is a useless piece of trash. The metalwork is of such thin gauge you can bend the frame without trying! At £1.99 I would still give it a miss. Better option at Olson's on special . . .

Helpful
Just another update now totally unusable
But survived a bathroom and kitchen renovation
If you are not confident with power tools and jigsaws especially avoid as too flimsy
