Great price. What's the date on these because I can't tell?

Says fulfilled by amazon so that might be why coz strawberry flavour is still expensive. Good find if it's delivered

You also need adequate Carbohydrate to enable the protein NOT to be used as an energy source. To be honest, you'd be better off getting a pint of skimmed milk, adding 4 tablespoons of Skimmed Milk Powder (mixing well) and a dash of Milkshake Syrup - you'd get 50g of protein in that and you'd be able to control the amount of added sugar. I'd say it works out cheaper too.

Anyone know if this Banana flavour suitable for veg??

The strawberry was much cheaper in yesterdays miss price, the Banana was about this price though.

I bought 1 of each to try during yesterdays pricing glitch. I probably should have advertised the banana price glitch but figured people would assume from the strawberry one, guess not though. Although I guess if you can't still get it at yesterdays glitch, then todays glitch is the one

Come on do you really believe that sugar is what you need to replace your stores after a workout?
If training hard, and the frequency and depending on your body chemistry, yes Glycogen needs replacing but sugar??? Ps have ordered 4 hope it comes through, this is convenient and usefull and also when doing endurance events its also good before.

I think if you can limit yourself to this 50g sugar a day you'll be fine, I've also ordered 4 lots

Re: Protein for Muscle Recovery:-

Whether completing resistance training or a conditioning session, the … Whether completing resistance training or a conditioning session, the delivery of high quality protein can provide the building blocks to repair muscle and promote muscle protein synthesis. Consuming essential amino acids, in particular leucine, in the immediate recovery period is essential for promotion of muscle protein synthesis, critical for muscle recovery and adaptation. Consuming 20-30g of protein (or an equivalent of 9g of essential amino acids) has been reported to maximise muscle protein synthesis in the first hours of post exercise recovery. (1) These protein requirements may be met with a well-timed meal or snack post exercise. However, it may not always be possible to eat sufficient amounts of both carbohydrate and protein immediately post exercise. The use of a rapidly digested whey-derived protein supplement may be a practical option when experiencing a suppresse appetite, competing with other post session commitments including medical screens, media commitments and other recover practices post event. Intake of small serves of high quality protein as part of meals and snacks outside of the immediate recovery period may also be a useful recovery strategy, and will assist with meeting other nutrition goals. For more information on the types and timing of protein, please refer to our fact sheet on Protein and Amino Acids.
