Popped into the foodhall in Johnlews, Oxford Street London at lunch and they had these for sale they only had about 10 when I went in so I bought a couple as Mumm is one of my favourite champagnes...

Haven't really found out too much about the treasure case although Mumm do talk about it on there website (1 of only 2 gift packages shown) so must be fairly decent

On the site select "Our Champagne" > "Gift Packs" > "Treasure Case"

A damn good deal considering the bottle alone in most places is £25.99

Not sure if its elsewhere but worth a look...

GLASSES ARE NOT INCLUDED

Here's the text about the case from the Mumm website:

"For nearly two hundred years the House of G.H. Mumm, established in 1827, has been travelling the world over to offer its esteemed champagnes. In its first year, the company exported around 60,000 bottles to destinations such as London, Amsterdam, Warsaw and Moscow.
From 1830 onwards, bottles of Mumm were shipped in wicker baskets for better protection because losses were estimated at between 20% and 40%.
From braving storms at sea with the first shipment aboard the “Seine”, each travel was an adventure for the G.H. Mumm’s founders

In tribute to this history and to mark its 180th anniversary, the House of G.H. Mumm has created the Treasure Case – an insulated case with the protective and aesthetic qualities of brushed aluminium maintained by elegant red straps . The Treasure Case will ensure your bottle of Cordon Rouge remains in perfect condition. Whether you’re celebrating a special moment “à deux” in an exotic setting or sharing a smart picnic with friends, the Treasure Case will keep your Mumm Cordon Rouge safe and sound wherever your audacity takes you.

how is it more money if its £5 cheaper than a standard bottle of Mumm  it's clearly old stock and they are clearing it...so what you either like it or you don't either way its cheaper than everywhere else and there is an added incentive that someone can give this as a gift etc...
