Tesco are selling 350g jars of Mumtaz curry cooking sauces for 99p (usually £1.99)

Spotted them in the Port Glasgow branch this morning but the offer is also online.

Only 3 varieties in store (Karahi, Tikka Masala and King Prawn Karahi) although a couple of others available online.

The Karahi one is the best curry "cook-in-sauce" I have ever tasted.

all these sauces like uncle bens taste so ugly....... I prefer Shan masalas in the asian aisles. They are much better taste. Or ill tell the simplest way of making yummy chicken curry...

Take 2 onions chop them. Put a little oil in a pan and heat the oil and fry onions in it untill golden brown. Add 1 tsp ginger paste and 1 tsp garlic paste, then add 2 chopped tomatoes. Fry until oil separates from the sauce. Add salt, red chilli powder to taste. Then add chicken and fry it for a few mins, add a bit of water and serve with rice...........This tastes better than any curry sauces and is much more healthier

Whoa cool !
Not just great deals but cooking tips as well !!!
I suppose a recipe can be classified as hot

Will do.
Looks like a great recipe, especially once the glut of tomatoes in the greenhouse start to ripen.
I would probably prefer nan bread with it but that makes it unheathy..Oh well
