It's not £2.47 per kg otherwise that would be just over £6.

I just copied their advert, but you are right, i've recalculated it to be £3.60 per kg.

Would've got but shame you have to spend 25 quid.

site very slow...

It's horrid, bought this once before, supposed be premium - it's afar from it... No blood spots - there's lots, there's membrane all over the place so not hand trimmed - produce of Romania.... I bet they have dubious inspections and quality welfare........ MF replaced the order with the same crap. You can buy better quality meats in Tesco (and I hate Tesco) that does not come in a sack full of orange gunk....... It's pure vileness. Buy from your local butcher, see what you are buying and buy BRITISH! Then you get quality at a good price with no crap covered in crap that's been treated like crap from Romania.

Yes, if you buy 3 and pay £3.95 on top of that if you want it delivered.
So no.

max order 2 per customer....

I buy frozen from Tesco at a similar price.. quality is ok. I'm assuming these are frozen? shipping chilled chicken in the post seems like food poisoning in the making...

Have to disagree about the quality of the chicken. Bought a lean meat hamper this month to try Muscle Food after being recommended them by a family member. The chicken breasts are large (about 200g each) have hardly any water and are trimmed of fat. Being honest, far better than those you get in supermarkets and no worse than butchers (I prefer it to the butchers tbh). The lean mince was nice, the chicken burgers were very tasty and almost no water/fat from cooking them. The one downside I found was the steaks were a bit tough (particularly the sirloins).

If you want to buy British, that's fine and totally understandable (even paying a premium for it), but I think you are blaming Romania for what you perceive as bad quality, which isn't particularly fair or what I have experienced.

My advice, at this price, give it a try and see what you think. Heat added as it's a very good price.

All delivered chilled, special box packaging that keep it at fridge temp (roughly 2-5 degrees) for 48 hours, and it's a 24 hour delivery timeslot. So this can be put in a safe place if you are not home, and is still at the correct temperature when you get home.

No they are shipped chilled in boxes with special cooling insulation and ice packs, keeps them fresh.

I've bought the chicken breasts a few time from here and never had any issues. Good size breasts and good price

Think Musclefood must be feeling the pinch with the poor Euro to Pound as I've not seen any good deals on 5KG+ deals for months. I normally buy 10 or 15KG but all the offers lately have been meat hampers and I can echo the view of #13 above, the chicken is good but the steak is quite poor.

Only reason people have a problem with Romanian chicken is the reason it is brought usually, for the price point. This is because it's cheaper to produce over there.

For a company which seems to promote a healthy option I am disappointed they cannot source UK chicken.

I have ordered turkey hamper from them before and this time too. Increased order to include a ham and bacon, never ever had a problem, always nice and everybody remarks on the quality.
