The current "Worlds Strongest Man" Hafþór 'The Mountain' Björnsson is definately not vegan...

The last time he posted his diet he had over a dozen eggs and 2kg of meat and fish a day

Sorry mate, it's just that to be a vegan seems to mean you have to mention it at every opportunity and the thread is about meat, so your message just triggered me

I agree that some are vegan and, without going into it, I agree that there are many benefits. (edited)

whatts whats wrong with their sausages?

I regularly buy Muscle food stuff but I must say the sausages are probably the worst thing they sell, the low fat high protein content makes them pretty dry and a bit bland, I just chuck em in a stew or pasta bake though and that seems to balence out the sausages a bit

No idea, not a bodybuilder. But I do know with protein, animals get their protein from plants so why not just cut out the middle man. If a guy who won the strongest man in the world competition did it (i don't know what year but like that matters) pretty fair to say it works.

Looks like a decent deal to me. I've ordered meat hampers a few times from muscle food and it's always been fine.

I'm curious about the "decent quality but not butchers quality" comment in the post. How is this stuff inferior to a local butcher?
