Good luck trying to get any freeview channels with that aerial unless your standing next to a transmitter.

Is that coming from experience of this product? Worth buying or not?

Has anyone actually used one of these? In the car perhaps? Is it any good at all for freeview?

Hot from me, great bit of kit.

I used one the last time I was in hospital (they allowed me to bring it in due to being in traction for 23 hours a day for three full weeks...), and once I stuck the aerial to the frame of the bed, the reception wasn't bad and I was getting around 60/75% signal strength.

I've used one very similar in the middle of nowhere (well, Salisbury Plain - it's the same thing) and with a bit of fiddling managed to get terrestrial channels. I have managed to get freeview before but like it says above you do need a very good signal strength. I paid £100 for a similar one three years ago so at this price I'd say it's a pretty good deal.

Make sure you read the reviews on google before purchasing...
