My thoughts entirely! Integrated header units and steering wheel controls have rendered the post ICE market dead ... you’d think?

Good memories seeing 6 x 9’s of my youth, kids today don’t know what they’re missing, making MDF parcel shelf’s and fitting speakers!

These are still useful for anyone with a classic hatch, or a boat, camper van, or caravan.

People who have older cars and speakers can also be used for non car use.
Bit of a stingy code discount for Eurocarparts!

If you were to stick 90w RMS up these they would disintegrate, why on …If you were to stick 90w RMS up these they would disintegrate, why on earth would you buy these cheap shit speakers they will sound awful is it the Chav in you. When i had a new car i never put all my expensive Stereo back in there was no way i was carving up my new car so i put all my kit is in the loft. I had a professionally built stealth shelf with 2x 6x9s JBL 3 Amps JL audio 1 for the front 1 for the back and 1 for base, i have a 18 inch Pioneer Sub box and some component speakers for the front all professionally installed by base junkies with all massive Kicker cables and all properly fused a bigger alternator and battery. It used to shake all the windows and leave you deaf for a hour after getting out the car it was beautifully installed everything hidden with all the best stuff i spent all that money so not only would it be loud but it would sound great and even at daft levels be crystal clear but as you get older what was once cool is now daft.Do yourself a favour and if you want to get some speakers pay the extra and get some decent ones some decent 6x9s wont be massively expensive some branded ones will be around £50 but its like everything you can spend £100s on them the sound difference will be worth the extra these will be sharp and have no base all treble they will sound like nails down a chalk board.

I think you're missing the point. These are "budget" speakers and not everyone who buys them is a boy-racer, wants to shake all windows or wants to be deaf for an hour... Maybe the average buyer for this just wants to listen to the radio?
