Got one of these early in Jan for £30.

not sure if this deal is online as well????

Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the £9.00 and did a price check then bought 2

They make a great security dvr, webcam or a sports cam.

I'm attaching one to my remote helicopter for some cool action shots

With the 2GB included this is a bargain

Tesco a very hit a miss with the deals

I think it could be a local deal, but they had 5 left on the shelf

great deal and at an almost throw away price! Shame my local doesnt have any of the cool stuff

Gah! i know a tesco that would probably stock these but my cars out of action! Damn! I would have really liked one for my motorbike vlogs in the summer. Voted hot.

Probably end of line and instore only. I wouldn't mind one for £9

Really hope my local has these.
Hot from me

Have you got the SKU from the box please ?

Rang 3 different stores up and said they havnt stocked it.....

I think you'll find it's called Gaffer Tape ;-)

Great deal BTW, heat added.

good price, surprising good video footage from something so small. Shame none of the Tesco's round my way will stock it (they never do :-( )

If the OP sees any more in Tescos id happily pay postage if they would pick one up and post it to me? it would be very much appreciated if possible!

Same here, if there is a stock code I'd like one.

Anyone willing to upload a test vid to YouTube? At 2MP Im not really jumping out of my seat. lol

Heat added :-D bet there will be none left when i get home from Ukraine though :x

Just check on youtube, thers quite a few video clips on there and the footage doesnt look too bad TBH.

Video quality looks pretty poor, about the same as a camera phone but at this price who cares!

Not in stock anywhere in Leeds or Lincoln.

Excellent deal - I paid £55 for mine towards the end of last year.

Quality is fine for what your using it for. I stick it on my cycle helmet and get decent enough quality footage from it.

How big is your helicopter ?...Won`t the camera affect the balance?

The camer is tiny, described as smaller than your thumb and it weighs less than 26g

In case anyones interested ive noticed that these cameras can be bought on ebay for £10-£13 delivered, admitably from China/Hong Kong. Search for "MD80 DV"

example video from MD80:

youtube.com/wat…ted

(remember video on youtube is compressed so its probably slightly worse quality than it would be live on your PC)

Apparently the video can stutter quite badly if you don't use a Class 4+ memory card.
Saw a review on a very similar model (possibly the same)
Here is his test footage. I was looking at buying one for a helicopter too, so thanks op!
The weight of the one in this review is 16g

Fantastic deal.

The £13 ebay ones are not exactly the same as this deal. They generally have a plastic housing (genuine muvi has alloy casting) and record at 720x480 30fps rather than 640x480 25fps. Whopper thread here: bikeradar.com/for…507

I have an alloy cased version (but AEE branded) and am pleased with it - use it for onboard recording in my kit car and on the mountain bike too...

Heres an example from my Muvi (pointing down a bit too much): youtube.com/wat…UpU
Heres an example of the Maplin one (which is the same as the £13 ones you get on ebay) youtube.com/wat…6M4

IMHO I think the Muvi is slighty better video despite its lower specs. Plus the Muvi comes with a 2gb card (for about an hour worth of footage)

I have never found any Tesco deals on here instore, and I live just down the road from one of the largest Tescos in the country, and there is also a Tesco Homeplus near by, which also never has any of the Tesco deals on here. Sometimes they will have the item, but not at the same price.

I bought one for £49 in October

Whats the point in voting till someone else finds one and we know it isn't store specific

great deal... heat added..

None in stock anywhere near me (St Albans, Hertfordshire - checked all the way to Brent Cross!).

EAN number for product is 0094922242396

To see if stock near you, dial 0800 505555 - press 1 and then ask for a stock check in your local area.

If you find this helpful, you know how to rep!

It's not available on Tesco Direct, so you cannot order to store.

They said its highly likely to be store specific product / end of line discount.

i just phone the wonderful tesco customer service and they have told me they dont carry this item and i must be making it

Im going to pass the perth store in about 45 minutes so will pop in and see if they got any or had any.
I will post back when i get in too let you know how i got on,sometimes there no point calling the store since the ppl on the phone dont always know whats going on in the store.

oh well looks like it expired did that just happen cos i didnt see it when i wrote the post.
Im going past there anyway so will take a gander and see whats in store.

It's probably only expired because someone went to a store and couldn't find it so they pressed the expired tit.
