And how is 1280x800 UHD ? It's not even 1080p let alone UHD.
It might accept a 1080p signal but if the dimensions are less than 1920x1080 it's not going to be outputting 1080p is it?

UDH means 4K or 8K. 1280x800 = 1 Megapixel. Not UHD. You need at least 2 megapixels for 1080p.....

I am guessing the description is taken straight off of the Chinese market sales page, where they put anything they think will get a search "hit", regardless of accuracy.

Why would I need this when I have a 55 inch HD Polaroid telly in my living room???

These displays have a very specific purpose, live feedback from a camera taking video. Normally when you're using a point and shoot camera you'd use the display on the rear or the viewfinder but it may not be possible to do with a camera mounted on a large gimbal as it's quite far away from your eyes, you may need an external display that can be powered by a camera battery.

Alternatively these can be used as cheap little portable displays for a raspberry pi.
