Good price if you need a simple TV box for a kids room or similar. 1GB RAM, so will handle basic video formats but won't be ideal for any high-bitrate / 4K Streams etc.

Use code 'GBMXPLUS' at checkout to receive discounted price. (Must be logged in)

Nice price but only 1GB RAM and no gigabit lan.. ewww. As the OP says.. good for kids.
S905 doesn't support HDR content. Usually plays, but colours are all messed up. Need a S905X for HDR. Just sayin'.

1GB RAM is fine if one intends to run LibreELEC--android will struggle though.

Fast ethernet LAN is also fine, it's not often movies need more than that. Even UHD bluray discs rarely go above 70mbit.

HDR will be an issue for UHD/4k playback, as noted.

Whilst fast Ethernet may be fine in general, the actual performance from some of these boxes falls well short of the expected transfer rate, so you may well suffer from lags and buffering.

Libreelec should work but always worth checking that it will work as required with a specific box.

Yup good advice there. Check on Freaktab for Libreelec compatibility of a range of these boxes.
