I have one of these we fitted it ourselves to replace a leaking one, just two nuts the back, (turn you stop tap off first)
It feels solid and works very well.
Good price and heat added
Great price, my old one packed up ages ago and requires all your strength to adjust the temperature. Worth a punt for replacing it.
I am looking to replace an electric power shower, will this replace that?

Unless Im mistaken this is a boiler-fed shower, isn't it? Certainly we replaced an electric shower with a boiler-fed thermostatic shower and our plumber fitted it for 80 quid. It's an unashamed Chinese special we got from iBathUk for a ton (with LEDs!) and has performed flawlessly for getting on for 6 years and I swear the chrome finish is indistinguishable from when it was first fitted. Would never go back to electric now. And would never pay the prices makers like Grohe charge, either. Let's be honest, most things like this are made in China these days...

How much does it cost to have something like this fitted? I've just moved into my first home and I HATE HATE HATE the shower riser that is in at the moment. Yours looks pretty cool.

Thank you, we are very happy with it. The plumber charged us 80 quid but that was almost 6 years ago and we live oop north . Interestingly we originally ordered a 10.8kwh electric shower which would require uprated wiring and got quoted 350 quid just for fitting! . Sent that back and ordered the boiler fed one instead. 180 quid INCLUDING FITTING. Never looked back.

We had a 10.8kwh electric shower at our old house and this one is much more powerful (and way cheaper to run).

Thanks, this is really helpful advice! I have a storage heater and a mixer unit already so probably only need the shower head, hose, and riser, should be a lot simpler to arrange.
