Cheapest I can see anywhere by about 6 quid. Good time to get it, fills a gap before their new CD comes out in the next few months.

Don't forget your 5% Quidco too, making it £2.85!

Second live album from the massively successful rockers and an epitaph to their alter ego band The Black Parade, named for their concept album about death which has so far sold over three million copies. Recorded and filmed on the final date of their tour at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City on 7 Oct 2007, this CD/DVD combo is a fitting tribute to, and document of, this extraordinary chapter in the band's career, which has seen them absorb and emulate the gaudy showmanship of 70s pomp rock bands such as Queen.

I don't mind cold voters if they have a good reason, that the whole point of the site. I post on here because if it helps one person get a deal then its been worth while. But if someone votes cold because they don't like the band or HMV or even me (:w00t:) then it gets a bit frustrating. I've voiced my disgust with PC World on a couple of posts but I haven't voted cold cos I don't like the company, that wouldn't be fair on the OP. Thats how it should be, I wouldn't vote cold on a Ne-yo CD just because I don't like his music (and I've had to listen to it cos the mrs likes him ), I just wouldn't vote. I'd leave it to the people that have looked for his CD and know if its a deal or not. Its just that I noticed a few cold votes at the start and they weren't voting cold cos they could get it cheaper. A lot of people have lost the point of this site unfortunately.

And I'm NOT an EMO either!

p.s. I've given you some rep for bothering to post

Hate their music but incredible deal if you like em, heat and rep added and well deserved.

DITTO!!!!!! :w00t:

Wow - I feel sick! I pre-ordered this last year, and um, paid a lot more for it than £2.99!

It is a fantastic show, excellent production on the live DVD, it's like you're there!

Whining Emo toss, not real music. Good price though, if you're unfortunate enough to have taste this bad.

Garbage. The best thing about My Chemical Romance is Leathermouth.

Voted hot. Thanks for this. My 11 year old daughter will be chuffed to bits with this. She might lose the attitude for a couple of days now. That's got to be worth £3 of anybody's money:whistling:

...Mexico?!!

Just to put this "emo" tag to bed:

"Gerard Way struck out against fans and bands that classify My Chemical Romance as "Emo", saying that; “I think emo is f****** garbage, it's bullsh**. I think there's bands that unfortunately [we] get lumped in with that are considered emo and by default that starts to make us emo.” and, "I think emo's a pile of sh**.” From My Chemical Romance talks to The 'Campus, 20/09/07.

Great album, great price, heat & rep added. No, I'm not some screaming 12 year old girl - I'm 45, male, overweight and drive a Volvo.;-)

My daughter paid what i consider a fortune for this last year!! But then i remember being a kid and "having" to buy "no more heroes" with my paper round money, the day the album came out! Remember them????? Vinyl records.. I hear they are coming back into fashion as collectors items. I am officially "old" I guess!

Good price and heat added.

Good spot and my Son is impressed. Ordered it for him

I'm 41 and seen them live in Belfast last year
they put on an excellent concert

thanks for this

I know what you mean but, this site is being dragged down by users who don't or won't understand how it is meant to work. At first it had a real 'community' feel about it. Now it appears to be a forum to have slanging matches.

I think you just have to simply ignore those who vote cold for whatever reason as good deals will still heat up despite the minority who choose to be child like with their voting power.

Like one or two other posters I am the wrong side of 40 but, know good music when I hear it.

Excellent!! Hubbs paid well more than that.. .. Student Discount too

Absolute bargain, people need to listen this album, simply stunning!!

Great deal thanks, surprise for son :-D

What the hell does that make them then? True emo, years ago when the tag meant something, produced some awesome music. All this **** around nowadays that people casually slap the emo label onto is bad enough, but MCR is the worst of it. The thought that they can describe anyones music as garbage or bull.... is incredulous. From the mouth of a strong contender for worst band in the world.

Also, I haven't voted. It's a **** album by a **** band but at least the price is good for those with low enough standards or ages.

To be fair I went and listened to Leathermouth because I was intrigued by your comment. Turns out I think its really rubbish, but thats the beauty of music, theres a lil bit of everything for everyone. its what inspires people to try new things, it would be very boring if everyone liked the same thing. (although it would definitely make this community more friendly :p)

Pokey;4245441

In your opinion...

Fantastic live band that transfers to CD well. Talented and lyrical. Why people have to label music then dismiss it is beyond me, but then again so are some of the comments on this thread. Oh well.

Obviously.

I am soooooooo bored by people labelling music Emo,Grunge,Electro WHATEVER!
All music is a creative process and if we all liked the same songs how boring would the world be-variety is the spice of life so they say !!
If you don't like something, fine, but don't attack just because it's not your cup of tea-I think there are far more important things going on in the world than getting so worked up about a band.
I don't suppose things will change tho-it's been going on since Elvis appeared and anybody over the age of 35 freaked out.
OR we could all just develop sheep mentality and line Simon Cowell's pockets with the latest X factor tour and song-then we would all agree at last!!!!

I'm also 41 and saw them on the Black Parade tour with my daughter. I've been watching bands since Rainbow in 1980 at the (now demolished) Grandby Halls in Leicester. MCR was the 2nd best live performance I've ever seen. Nothing will ever top Slayer on the South of Heaven tour in 1987 at Rock City but MCR were fantastic live.

Those on this thread that are slagging off MCR / Emo music are pathetic.

I've been listening to MCR for a few years (only from the Black Parade days). Bought the ticket for my neices birthday and also as I had no one else to head with

Told the neice afterwards that it was def one of the top concerts I've been too. I knew I'd like the music but was really really surprised at how good a show they put on.

Too many ppl just like to complain on these forums. We all have different tastes.

Anyway I glad I got the DVD/CD watching it now, and thank goodness the house next door is up for sale, cause I can turn the vol WAY UP. Bringing back memories of the Belfast gig

excellent bargin

**** I missed this! really angry with myself!

Got mine and watching the DVD now. Never seen them live but, they sound really good.

Thanks OP:thumbsup:
