Not only is it OOS but last week (when someone posted the 3TB deal) this was £91 and change .... and also OOS!!

It being OOS is a good thing, means people can't put their data at risk on a refurb HDD!

I got a reconditioned WD elements 2tb the other day direct from WD.

It came very well packaged, and works very well so far.

My only gripe was the new proprietary usb connection on the bloody thing. I expect better from WD.

As far as I know WD use standard connections. Are you sure it wasn't a USB 3 connector?

Wouldn't touch recertified drives if you paid me. Lost too much data over the last 18 months with recertified seagate and western dig drives that promptly failed! Think long and hard guys, there's usually a reason they've been sent back!
