why so cold? seems like a good price for a brand new sat nav, let alone one which includes w. european mapping?

Or is there something i am missing

2008 mapping perhaps?

These are great value for money. I bought one because my expensive Indago does not have European mapping. I used it in Spain this summer, and now I use it here too! They are excellent for £50!

neutron, pls try to include price & retailers name in the title - added for you now

I say hot

Ok the bundled software isn't the greatest, but I have 2 different myguides and I have managed to have other software running on them very easily

So £50 for something that you can effectively turn into a tomtom is a bargain

Hot IMHO but finding one will be difficult.

i think buying these types of satnavs and then adding branded software is definately the way to go. There are plenty around this price about, for example ebuyer have quite a few around the £50 mark. And if you do a bit of googling you should quite wasily be able to get up to date maps - although to be honest I think this is a bit of a marketing coup for tomtom/garmin etc in convincing people that 2008 maps are old and they need to upgrade!

Sure I saw on MSE that these are meant to be £30 at the moment, and the 3.5" 3218we are meant to be £20.
