It's a pity that these Anime to Video games almost always end up as a fighting game. Would be nice to see it as a story driven RPG where you pick you characters for their abilities to overcome certain challenges and fights are a small part of it. Would work well for the likes of this 7 Deadly Sins, Danmachi etc.

Love this game, my daughter does too. Great for fans of the anime series.

And at that price? Plus Ultra!

Lets hope that Dragonball Z: Kakarot game or the new Fairy Tail game is successful and maybe we will see more of them.

I would love a new FMA game in that style.
Is online still active?

I agree. I'm holding out hope for the recently announced Fairy Tail game, coming in 2020.
But I do enjoy the over-the-top style of anime fighting games

Agreed. Some of the Naruto games did this quite well and had open world areas you could roam around to progress the story and do sidequests, then fights would often be story driven and tie in with the show etc. Been a while since I played one so no idea if they stuck with that formula. A full blown RPG using the characters powers would be sweet.

The original Naruto games with the story mode were pretty decent, but again sadly boiled down to fighting.

Pretty sure one piece got an RPG release on the GBA but that's a long time ago now.

I'd also be keen for something like this!
