Was looking for some Studio Ghibli related items for my Niece, and came across this little bargain! Probably more purse than bag size, but still a good price for Ghibli themed item.

Max I could add in basket was 69 - just to check stock level - so fairly decent amount :-)

Edit: Still loads in stock as of 18th March 2016.

Still on ( and just purchased) as of 23/04/2016

It's a Japanese Animated film (with English voice over) about a family that move to a new house. The two young children find friendly wood spirits living all around them, led by a gentle giant called Totoro (the character on this bag). It's produced by Studio Ghibli. Once you watch one of their films, you'll probably end up watching all of them. Fillm 4 have had Studio Ghibli seasons, or of course there's always Amazon.

Forget that English voice over nonsense. Stick to the original in Japanese. My niece was 5/6 when she first saw it, even though she couldn't read the subs properly she still understood the story

yeah anime is alot better subbed, not dubbed. plus all of the english voice overs sound horrible.

I love it
Its been widely reported that Hayao Miyazaki has said several times that he always intended his films to be watched, not read, which is why he supports them being dubbed into other languages.
Now begins a new adventure for you!
And you'll be with

To-to-ro, Totoro! To-to-ro, Totoro!
I want this for myself!
£4.79 I got it for

You're being a purist - and that's your prerogative. The English voice overs have made the films much more accessible for many families. My young children have enjoyed all of the Ghibli films with English voice overs. Whilst I'm sure they would still get some enjoyment out of them with subs, it would certainly limit their enjoyment and I personally don't see the point in that.
I don't need it but by god do I want it.....i'll find a use for it!!!

Got my Nieces last week. Looks pretty official to me. Have no idea how to tell tbh. Comes with a cute little craft type art tag on it. It's actually a decent sized messenger bag, not a dinky thing which i was half expecting. Quality is excellent if you ask me ;-) It literally looks exactly like the one pictured, not a cheapo version, as is sometimes the case. hope that helps.

Ill chance it then usually the Chinese knock offs may look different to how they supposed to, i normally go off the label which would be all in Chinese
We bought one of these 2 years ago - it's still fluffeh and new
The Ghibli voiceovers usually have a decent cast and effort put into them, unlike most series or movie dubs, so it's usually fine watching them in either. The changing of the title songs can be pretty annoying though, but the rest of the film is fine
Ordered. My girlfriend will love this.

They do, Howl's moving castle's English voice actors include Lauren Bacall and Christian Bale. This isn't some obscure anime.

Your balls clearly outweigh mine, you are truly a god among men.
If you hate on dubbed anime it's usually down to poor experience or being extremely closed minded because you get too used to subbed anime.. I loved Ponyo too... Studio Ghibli do a quite a few nice films.

Please please please, have your son watch the cartoons in English, or you will risk him becoming a weeabo. What is a weeabo? WATCH THIS (essential if you are to save your child's life)

And ALL of this.

Basically a weeaboo is a creature so fowl that no amount of electric shock, bleach or nuclear radiation can cure it.
