It's not as good as muc off, that's for sure, but I suppose it does still clean the bike (_;)

So how does this differ from a good quality car shampoo/wash?.
Honest question.

I've bought this to clean the bike chain. Since someone else mentioned fairy liquid will also work i guess this will work just as well.

I can't test it as its raining atm. I'll post a reply when I've tested it out
Had this stuff before and it is genuinely rubbish , not even close to muc off

Better off with hot and soapy

Ive had Muc off and this stuff from pound land.....this stuff IS NOT as good as Muc Off, in fact I think you are paying for the bottle rather than the contents.

To be honest I wouldn't expect poundland stuff to be of the same quality as the more well known brands.
To be fair it doesn't strip anodising like Muc Off, but then it doesn't strip grease or dirt either.
half decent stuff this,ok,not as good as muc off but not as expensive either,i tend to let it sit on the bike for 10 mins before i rinse it.
I have use this plenty of times for my motorbike, its good however it will NOT bake down dirt so you need to do that by hand. It will however give you a nice shine and make the bike look very nice and clean. I wouldn't say its Muc Off however if you don't mind doing a little extra work it will give you the same overall outcome as Muc Off. Muc Off is VERY over priced because it has got a cool brand name. You can buy some very good cleaners for a lot less than Muc Off and will work better. (BTW I used Muc Off Brake Disc Cleaner the other day and it was sh*t so don't bother buying it)
My lad has a mountain bike which he uses to get to work when its a local contract, he is on and off roads, canal paths etc and the bike gets really "Manky" (Scots slang) there was quite a build up of muck/debris on the chain and after rinsing it off I mixed up some Swarfega with a bit of fairy and a drop of water Absolutley brilliant, gave it a good rinse and it was like new, a damm sight cheaper than Muc of.
We have used the same stuff now on a regular basis and it really does the job
Tried this before. Absolutely rubbish. Just like tap water with pink colouring.
I used to have a dirty bike but everyone used to ride it so I got rid..

Probably best, you don't want to catch anything nasty.

"I can't believe it's not Muc Off"
Hope Sh1t shifter is much better than Muc Off and won't damage anodising. Avoid wahing up liquid as it has a high salt content and won't do seals and stuff any good in the long run. I've also used Turtle Wax shampoo and wax and that works fine but requires a bit more effort. The stuff in this deal is probably not worth it though.
I have six bottles of this in my workshop, it's superb for cleaning flies off screens and fairings, helmets too, great on wheels etc, great on cars, can't beat it for a quid, works perfectly.

This is muc off, but diluted 10:1 with water
The bottle alone is probably worth about 30p to 50p.

@chaffordred Not bad, because Muc Off still works when diluted to that extent..
Never been that impressed with Muc Off! If this stuff is inferior it is probably best avoided!
too bad my bike was stolen whilst I am in the gym two days ago

It's not as good as the likes of fairy liquid (important, obviously VERY important to wash it off as it does contain salt).
I use Astonish car alloy wheel cleaner on my chain from pound land.

Its a very strong alkali so its not corrosive. Its virtually the same as Muc Off and cheaper. In fact its so cheap you can go to town with it unlike like Muc Off
I'd go for GT85 for cleaning bikes. It even leaves a slippery TPFE (generic name for Teflon) coat that prevents gunk from sticking as much. You can get good deals on Amazon
