Found 20th Mar 2014
Just had an email from hermes to say the 1kg parcel service is BACK on the 26th March.
Used to be £3.30 now £2.78

I know many will scoff, but this will definitely help me!

*Home collection extra 20p but still cheaper than before.

if you add £1 then they have to get customer to sign for parcel well worth the extra £1.

cant say the same for royal mail when you choose signed for had quite few parcels not signed for then buyers saying not received.

Yes, £2.32 excluding VAT.

Amazing price as it includes tracking and £50 insurance cover. Royal Mail will be putting their prices up in April so this looks like a very aggressive but clever move from Myhermes. The Royal Mail simply can't compete with that price and may well lose out on alot of business!

Royal mail's small parcel policy is a complete joke, it should be based on complete volume rather than just making sure all sides are within a boundary.

Do not rely on insurance when they lose your parcel (which they will!) - they lost my parcel in November and now in March, and they still have not paid the claim - myhermes is one definitely worth avoiding! Voted, cold, actually so cold that I would vote frozen!

Parcels and large letters are rising too.

I have a business account with RM and get discounts on sending parcels, but that's rising also.

Royal Mails 2.60 is going up to 2.80 from 1st April

YEP..... Make you right there... Royal Mail are getting worst

Do not use this company - I have a record of 100% dissatisfaction with my experiences with them! Every single one has their own story (I'm not going to explain). If you're a receiver, try to avoid. If you're a sender, try to avoid.

Do they send abroad? Internationally? It just national?

never had a problem with Hermes either for items i'm waitng on or itnes i've returned. More convenient times too.

I use Hermes and royal mail quite a lot. I have an account with Royal mail best bit about that is being able to drop off all your mail without the staff asking you loads of questions about what is in the parcel. The cost and time saving is also another factor, although the postmasters don't like you bringing stuff in with an account as they don't benefit. I use hermes for anything over 2kg or worth anything

To balance this out I have used myHermes for 106 deliveries - never had one issue. Not sure how many parcels I receive via them but, our local delivery driver is top notch. Can't fault them so far.

MyHermes is a great service in Portsmouth.
his is a REAL post office competitive move.
And for these prices and no effort.
Usually takes 3-5 days to be delivered

HOT HOT HOT!!!

I've used Myhermes for approximately 200 deliveries over the last 12 months, many of them extremely large, heavy, fragile packages with values exceeding £300. A couple of times the item has arrived a day or 2 late - that's the worst can say about them. So far they have outperformed every other courier I have used over the last decade, and that includes every big name brand.

I use these all the time and have had nothing but good experiences. this deal is really good. hot from me

You get what you pay for folks - I'll never purchase from sellers who use myHermes as it's too much of a gamble. The reviews speak for themselves:

trustpilot.co.uk/rev….uk

Just had email from Hermes saying tried to deliver three times to my customer, pay £7.90 to send back to me or they will throw away ........................ lovely

Been using MyHermes for years, sent hundreds of parcels and not had a single issue with them that I can remember.

So, should they waste their time and fuel continuing trying to deliver to your customer who can't be bothered to arrange to receive their parcel, or should they foot the bill for returning the parcel to you because your customer can't be bothered?

150+ parcels since January with my hermes. Not a problem.

Royal mail have lost a lot of business from me because of their pricing structure and they will now be losing a lot more.

You wouldn't lose out,it's the seller who would,I don't see it as much of a gamble for you.

I did have one parcel I sent left in a bin,but I've never had any other problems with them,it all depends on the drivers, mine are brilliant where I live.

Been using MyHermes for a long, long time. Top quality service from this company, never had an issue with them. Parcels always delivered/received within the time frame.
