*typical delivery times 2-4 days ParcelShop and Parcel Locker, 3-5 days courier

My experience of using the lockers has been shocking, from opening a locker after scanning an item and finding other peoples post, to having my parcels sitting there for a week uncollected and having to chase up MyHermes to pick them up.

Can't believe there are still so many people awake to vote it to sub-zero

People waiting on a MyHermes delivery.

I had to wait for MyHermes collection for a whole week once, the courier just never showed up no matter how many times I called them and rebooked it. I think that's why they come up with this drop-off to the lockers idea...

Problem is, the same drivers don't pick up from the locker on time either.

3 lost parcels in 1 month costing me £150 as I had to refund 3 ebay buyers. I did finally get my compensation by complaining daily on their facebook page and when I told them I was proceeding with small claims court that they paid up.
I hope this post is the coldest ever.

I used myhermes for the first time recently and they smashed my very well packaged item to pieces. Seems I'm far from the only one to experience this. Never again.

Maybe if you want to send a car tyres or something similarly indestructible you could chance it.

Hate to break the mould here but i've been using myHermes for ages and not ever lost a package, same guy always turns up and collects on time every time. Now if this comment has jinxed my good service and the guy doesn't turn up to colect my 4 parcels today i'll be very unimpresssed :-)

sorry to hear all bad news about hermes thought the info would be useful to some.

I probably sent near 500 parcels with them and only 1 went missing which I was was paid out straight away and when items gone missing with royal mail I never get paid out even with signed for

Some other interesting clips on there as well, like the Yodel driver who dropped a package over a 6 foot metal gate and the UPS guy who stole a parcel dropped off by Fed-Ex... guess that explains why people find plenty to complain about, against all delivery companies.

I thought that was the binman until I looked closer.

Probably the worst delivery service in the world.

Never done the locker drop off, always dropped parcels off at one of the corner shops near work (and getting it scanned with a receipt), on my way into work and never seen any of my parcels take more than 48 hours, even though it is officially "3-5 days". Never had a lost one either. Always disliked the idea of dropping off something of worth without acknowledgement, whether it be a parcel into a locker, or cash/cheques in a paying in envelope, dropping into one of those "quick pay" letterboxes at the bank

Hermes left a £80 duvet from debenhams on my front door step whilst I was away on holiday. It was sat there almost a week! Thankfully no one stole it!!

Lucky you weren't burgled. I get annoyed when leaflets aren't pushed through the letterbox properly. Even more so when it is post.

I have made approx 100 parcels via myHermes during the last past year and have experienced 2 non-receipt where the certain drivers decided the bin was a secure location.

However going through the help system, I got both of them refunded within a few weeks of filing a claim.

I have no problems with my local MyHermes driver for collection, always arrives the day that I specify.
