Ta, was after a USB drive as i'd lost all of mine
Are they still trying to shift these s..l...o...w drives? They would be better off giving them away with another purchase.

In what way "better off"? Ok they're not the fastest but meet a need for many people ie cheap and high capacity. I have a 256GB one hanging out of a rPi as media server storage. Don't need super fast speeds - just enough to get the media to my devices. More than adequate for that. I'd be no better off if I'd spent £50 on a faster one.

Copied a load of MP4 files to my 128gb it took hours and hours. Gave mine away and bought a Corsair drive, yes it was a lot more money, but copied the same files in less than an hour.
hows the reliability of these? just had one of my kingston sticks die

No one is questioning that. If copying files quickly on a daily basis is your main use these are not the USB stick for you. For other applications they are pretty good - mainly due to capacity and price. The initial post said that MyMemory would be "better off" - the above is an example of how a user might be better off.

Mine's been in an always on rPi 24/7 for about a year without issue. That's not to say it won't die tomorrow of course. They are a bit flimsy looking and fairly large so not really something I'd want to carry around in my pocket.

What's the write speed on these? Around 30mb per sec?
