Anyone know how many amps this outputs?

VC5 code brings it down to £4.74

I just bought two for stocking fillers...excellent! it should charge an iPhone at least once.

I was looking to see how much was delv cost and it's free...

OP this adds weight to your post if you put in title free delv

To charge your mobile phone with this device while 'on the move', wouldn't you need to carry with you a usb cable to connect your phone to it?

Thanks -- pity they didn't design it to encompass one inside.

As a plus, it makes your phone look like a Geiger counter

Not really. The device as it is can charge any usb device. It has flexibility.
If the charging cable was built in then it becomes device specific (apple / mini-usb etc.).

Do note you can probably get the kind of thing you are describing. Or get to the same point with some recent deals:..
hotukdeals.com/dea…876
there was an mini-usb one also..

Cheers thats 2 xmas stocking fillers

The only time it charged was when the phone was turned fully off so their sw didn't reject it! Might be just my phone or could be Apple tying their phones down to only approved devices etc, but as I said, thought worth letting people know.

I have the same charger and it's been charging my i5 without a problem. No error messages; charging is fast enough and I'm on iOS7 too. Are you using the official cable though? It's usually the cable that cause the errors due to the chip

Weird, there's not a single review on this charger on their website.

I decided to opt for the Perfect Portable Power Bank 2600MAh @ £7.99 instead on their website, which has plenty of reviews:

Most probably because this is a new product, and also I’m assuming, at this price for a limited time for Christmas?

Just buy this, it's not like it's much different. You'll also be saving yourself £3.25, and on the plus side it's small and more portable.

Ordered and heat added, thank you.

Its cheap and I almost ordered one until I realise from searching 2200mah chargers that this look exactly the same as those no name ones on ebay and amazon.

Is this a one charge thing or can it be recharged or used over and over?

It approximately charges your device (let's say an iphone 4) fully once from one charge before needing to recharge the device again.
SO Yes, this can be recharged and reused.

Thank you.

Ordered 2 via quidco with VC5 code £9.48.

How do you charge the charger? (_;)

I have 2 off 10000mah anker batteries.

I might keep this in my car for emergencies. At this price it's not bad.

Perfect! Was looking for one of these this week. Wifey's in hospital and they don't let you plug in a mains charger anymore. So it was either buying a second mobile battery + desk charger to swap over each day, or one of these. I can take this in every day to give her phone a recharge. Ta, OP!

Anyone know if this has an Ultrafire 18650 battery inside? I'm wary of these s**t lying batteries ever since I opened one up and found it filled with flour and a tiny button battery.
here's a forum article on it: laserpointerforums.com/f67…tml
here's a youtube video about it: youtu.be/eOs…kDA
And here's what I found in mine: imgur.com/iNx…DA5

Until someone unscrews the lid on this case and shows a pic of the battery inside, I'm more inclined to buy this:
ebay.co.uk/itm…cad

And put my own reliable & true 18650 battery in it.

Please have a look at the Panasonic 3400mah battery. It is the best available:
ebay.co.uk/sch…c=2

In my experience, there are few to zero shortcuts to getting yourself a good set of batteries and I really wish someone would come along and sort this whole problem out, build a decent company, one that offered the value that we are currently buying at.

Try asking someone on the ‘online chat’, but I doubt they'll provide any information. I just tried and they refused to provide any, if everyone starts bugging them then they might come clear. They do sell other cheap knock-off products which can be found on eBay so I wouldn't be surprised if this too was also had a cheap battery inside.

When someone receives theirs please do check inside and let us know (_;)
