30% off Code - MUSCLES

Another code for Myprotein here for 30% off and free delivery. Price wise we're seeing things like the peanut butter being cheaper than the recent 42% offer, so they've lowered the price here, which is nice.

The peanut butter is always a good shout for 1KG, there's also Almond butter at £6.78 for 1KG, which is also a decent buy right now.

It's totally worth a look through to see if there's anything you've had your eye on, especially for trying out new products / samples and such.

Works on Sale and Full price items - Excludes bundles

Coincides nicely with the January gym tourists giving up their New Years resolutions and it being less busy.

Great effort on the post, thanks op.
Good deal this time it seems - I almost bought a few bits last night so glad I held out. Some products as low as I’ve seen. Stocked up a bit on chia seeds, peanut butter, whey and creatine! Thanks op

What's the link for this protein please?
Interesting programme on BBC last night basically saying that all the extra protein just passes straight through the body.

Thanks alot
Isn’t 30% quite low , they usually do a 40%-45% discount
Wonder what the expiry date on the peanut butter might be? My friend LOVES it so I’m tempted to buy a tub and save it for part of her birthday present but it’s only in July!

They notoriously change their prices so regularly the percentage is almost irrelevant. Best to just go on actual price. Brings most of the whey stuff for example to under £10/kg which is good

I watched that and thought it was a pretty broad statement, They didn't go into what exercises the volunteers were doing and they did, I recall, one day? So thorough
This is actually decent and proper promotiom from them. Almond butter for 6.70ish per 1kg i s very very rare these days. HOT

That's true, but it's subject to the person's requirements. For most lifters 1g per 1lb of body weight is a good guide for repair and growth but the same ratio for a sedentary person would end up as waste. The same applies to a lifter who is taking too much protein, unless there were cutting fat of course.

I stated having the whole fuel blend which is a copy of Huel.

What if your reducing carbs, any need for extra protein? Currently add scoop to oats for breakfast, using blueberry at moment, adds no e tasty interest

It would all depend on your goal. If you are looking to cut the carbs to lose weight/fat then additional protein (to a point) helps with fat loss so no harm in having powder with the oats.

However you dont technically need to up your protein to compensate for less carb consumption.

I do the same as you and add protein to my oats, and have a post gym shake which accounts for 50g of my daily recommend protein and then I make up 120-130g of protein through real food as my goal is 1g of protein per 1lb of body weight.

The macro calculator linked above can give you a better idea of how much to consume for your goal in mind.
Looks like some of the protein powders that are in the EXTRA code sale stack with the MUSCLES code too.
Threw a couple of orders in, thanks OP

I remember the last programme the BBC came up with about supplements which came out a number of years ago.
If I remember correctly they interviewed a skinny guy who stated that he took 10 protein shakes a day to gain muscle and somehow tried to link that to the fact he would hit his partner. Their programme gave the impression that protein powders and creatine was some sort of anabolic steroid

If you’re completely cutting carbs (or quite a lot out) and go keto then you’ll need more protein.

They didn’t take in to count for people actually trying to hit specific macros. For example where else am I going to get 100 calories containing 20g of protein for near enough 30p like I do from protein powder. Plus the “nutritionist” on there looked like a bag of bones lol
Bargain cheers!

It is a fine science. Protein to a degree will go through the process of gluconeogenesis and become glucose within the body.
Time to stock up on Pratt Powder boiiizz
Any see peanut butter for that price anywhere?
Great thank you, have been waiting for a free delivery code to stock up on some carb crushers

Stocked up - thanks for this OP! Bonus with that free delivery as well, which they never seem to really do.
Damn it, payed £3.99 for delivery earlier.

That's £1 per cookie still. That only gets me through 2 weeks. So £20 a month on JUST cookies.

Am I just cheap or is this still expensive?
