A box of slime for the food bank...

Yes.... At Christmas our local food bank ask for donations of toys. Must be new. I suppose if people are struggling to buy food then Christmas presents would be a bigger problem. We have done this for years. Just pick up items throughout the year, they are always greatful.

Thanks op glad I waited was 2 in stock at my local
Reserved one 20 miles away, paid Fast Track so I'll pick it up when passing in the next week or so.

Cheers OP.
Dungannonis the only Argos showing stock in N.I
Barnstaple and minehead have stock
I thought this was a good deal when I paid £2.70 last week, great price at just 90p
I ordered five of these on Friday and paid fast track. (Two are for the food bank). I wonder if I can ask for the price difference
Excellent price even when they had been reduced to £3

None in stock the whole of Liverpool typical Argos s**te
Out of stock near me. They have it on their ebay site but not this price, about £4 i think
Thank you i ordered two, i have to travel like 20mins but its fine as its an excuse to eat at a nice restaurant there 🙊
None in Birmingham
theres some in Stornoway ;P
None within a 25 mile radius.
No stock within 35 miles around me
Nearest to me with stock 74 miles away ... Barnsley S73 0TB
I bought one of these at £2.70 was disappointed and didn't think it was worth that you get the tiniest bag of slime not enough to make what is suggested on the box. Probably be worth 90p but expect your kids to be disappointed
None near me
Horrid stuff, this took ages to get off the kids hands and went straight into the bin after 1 go.
Reserved at £2.70 but now 90p, absolute bargain. Cheers

I also got Barnsley as a suggestion - 200 miles away. Was hoping to donate a few but I don’t think I will be passing

Ditto, no instructions at all about how to make the slime and it just turned into a lumpy mess.

Save your money.

Didcot have stock apparently.

I bought two last week when they were £2.70 I think, and my nephews had great fun with them.

Absolutely brilliant.

Tip: the instructions for making the slime are absolutely terrible. My advice is to fill it 1/3 with water and slowly add the sachet of slime crystals, and get an electric whisk to mix it up for a few minutes (I got the kids involved and they loved making it).

Worked fine for me!

1/3 water, slowly add the sachet of slime, mix with a whisk (you could use a fork).

I wish id taken a photo, but I’ve only got pics of the boys having fun with it in the boxes. I’ll try and see if I can get one that shows the consistency

I recon you could add more water than I did as my slime was thick.

Yes, it’s sticky! My tip is wipe off what you can with kitchen roll and baby wipes (I used dettol wipes as no baby wipes) before washing hands otherwise it’s a slimy mess.

Here’s the ‘poop’

has anyone been recommended to go to a store other than Barnsley?!
Just picked mine up that i reserved at £2.70 last week, i mentioned that they are now 90p and they refunded the difference! Thanks OP
I also only picked up 2 of the 4 reserved so 2 should come in stock at stevenage branch

It’s not very good , no instructions on how much water to add , brought two so shoved them in one box , half filled with water and whisked both bags of slime in . Will be better the following day . Horrible stuff to clean up with , used paper towel and an old towel , then washed off which made it worse , ohh well little girl has taken it home to try with mummy
Sold out just checked national stock.
Best deal of the year I could say.

Different topic I know, but with the current benefit system, only a VERY small percentage should actually struggle to buy food, unfortunately the majority are simply not living within their means and failing to budget.
Got the last one in my local store today... Thank you

Scrape off excess on the side of the box, then use kitchen towel, then wet wipe (I used dettol wipes but baby wipes would work), then wash with soap = easy slime removal process.

The instructions were so poor, they should have included info on the amount of water needed and how to clean it off after.
