It's probably going to be voted cold straight away because it's not an Onkyo/Sony and because it's over £100, but it may be of use to a couple of people, and that's good enough for me.

NAD D7050 is normally £799
PSB Imagine Mini are normally £349 (discounted)
So you're effectively getting the speakers for free.

You'll essentially get:
- NAD quality, 2x 50W that sound like a lot more
- Bluetooth (AptX), async USB, network connectivity, digital inputs, one analogue input
- two pretty decent speakers (albeit with limited bass response, but look at them, they're so cute!)

I've had the smaller brother (D3020) at home for a couple of days and it struck me how much controlled, quality power it could put out for its measly 2x 30W rating. I did a small review here: avforums.com/thr…79/

Since the D7050 is more powerful, you'll be in good hands for pretty much anything bar loud parties or something like that. Reviews:

The PSB Imagine Mini are also quite well reviewed, and although no competition for bigger floorstanders, they're no shrinking violet and will probably impress you too. The plus side is that they're really rather small! Reviews:

Really like the styling of this, but annoying that you only really get a discount if you're buying it with speakers. Most people would probably already have their own speakers. Still voted hot.

Thanks - I agree, though it's probably a good way for SSAV to shift some stock of both items. If you need a whole system then it's a decent deal.

voted cold because it's 800 stupid quid to listen to music'n'****... i'll stick with my 20 quid bluetooth headphones... ( they should just paint it red and give it a pen1s extension bonnet too.)

Nad amplfiers are good and really flying off the shelves at this price:

"Go Nads Go"

Readers may recall this is what Richersounds published in one of their flyers about 16 years ago

Heat as I was able to use that Nad joke which I've been waiting to do since 1998

You are of course entitled to your opinion and vote however you want but not everyone wants to 'enjoy' their music via £20 bluetooth headphones and thankfully there's a wide wide choice, this being one of them.

Same applies to everything, some people enjoy Irn Bru and others enjoy Dom Perignon

I have a nad 520 CD player and nad 3020e amp both 30 years old still sound amazing

Frankly, I'm disappointed... where's the Sony gear?

Merry Christmas!
