I have just seen this has fiiiiinally been relisted and grabbed a pack as I ran out ages ago because it's so good, especially the masala mix which is bursting with flavour. It's not just about heat with this pack, used wisely you can produce some fine tasting food with it or you can go mad with it and make something super hot.

There are a lot available this time round but last time they sold out within a few hours, it only gets listed 4 times a year it says in the listing, looking at previous deals of this I've posted that seems to be about right so grab some before they sell out again!

I buy quite a bit from chilliesontheweb, the guys communication is really good and he is very helpful and knowledgeable about chillies. Postage takes just a few days.

Whooppee - best item on eBay and the cheapest way to get this combination: the bonus is they're really nice people to deal with.

The Jolokia Masala Mix is outstanding, I buy it 250 grammes at a time and keep a small jar of it on the table for sprinkling over all sorts of things.

I love it in soup, it's brilliant on fried eggs and does a great job of lifting a glass of tomato juice (whether or not it also has the Vodka in it :D).

Yes there are whole chillies included and have to say that you will be doing something daft if you try to get him to eat a whole one of these - they can be lethal. If you don't believe me, then order this pack and when it arrives open the pack of chillie powder and take a really good sniff and if that doesn't convince you, nothing will.

Naga Bhut Jolokia is the proper name, Ghost Pepper is what it is more commonly known as. It is one of the same.

That's three things.

- masala seasoning
- chilli pods
- naga bhut jolokia/ghost pepper powder

Bought, was hoping this would be listed again.

These will keep me pranking for a while.

Have seen this on offer before but have never purchased. Gonna give it a try tho. How much of the powder would you use in a curry? Would you use 1 chilli per person? I like my curries quite hot, but not uncomfortably hot. Can someone give me a (sensible) idea as to how much to use. Thanks!

mine arrived today

Thank you, love the Bhut Jolokia and the quality of their other spices are superb.

I had some of these recently and it made my ahem, piddle burn. I'm at the stage where I find Encona fruity tasting and not just like sucking a poker, but these things - man alive.

Have ordered two lots to experiment, will have to look up how much to add though!

Thanks for posting.

The actual dried one's are HOT so do not use 1 per person!

1 per curry will make it very hot. Rehydrate it in a mug 1/4 filled with boiling water, drop the chilli in and keep it under the water with a teaspoon, fork, knife or whatever, give it about 20 mins and it will be nice and soft. The chop it up and add it to your curry.

As for the powder, add a little, try it, and keep adding until it's how you want it.

If that's rhyming slang then no it won't.

This company are brilliant. I buy 50g of dried ghost chillies every couple of months and they include a free sachet of naga masala seasoning.

You, sir, are insane. Quarter teaspoon between four portions would probably be considered "comfortably hot" by most, at a guess. Happy to be corrected, but these are H.O.T. Personally, I'm a bit of a berk when it comes to curry etc, I got for hot all the time and I do like the odd one that's insanely hot.

Just realised this company is now selling in my local market (Stafford). Grabbed a few bags if chillies today, look forward to using the naga massala, anyone made a curry with it yet? Be interested in any recipe advice.
