Don't see what the issue with this is - I use Namecheap as a domain registrar regularly and never had any issues.

Agreed - I've been using Namecheap for approximately 10 years and found their service second to none. With the launch of a VPN service, I'd expect top notch quality.
I guess people not in the 'web hosting' market won't have heard of the company, and - a typical HUKD response - instantly assume it's an unknown / poor / dodgy deal, when in fact they're a large player in the market with a solid rating and brand image.

I am currently using nordvpn , have done for a few years, but runs out in 2 weeks , will be taking this offer up as I currently use namecheap for domains
